"There's no denying your not a little kid any more Daisy. Bo may not want to face it but it's true. He wouldn't want you worrying yourself sick over him and you know it." Luke says.
"I know you can't but...do you know how angry Bo would be if you miscarried because you were so worried about him that you didn't take care of yourself?" Luke asks.
"He doesn't but...Look if you spend so much time at the hospital worrying about Bo you're gonna stop caring about yourself and your child needs food and sleep to grow and he can't get it if you make yourself sick." Luke says.
"I hate to sound grateful because really I'm not but...the longer he's here the easier it is for me to fix their cars without them underfoot." Cooter says.
A thought struck Luke and he caught up with Cooter and then explained it. Cooter got an encouraged look on his face and walked back into the room. "Elizabeth Natalie Jackson-Davenport. Go home now." Cooter demands. "Or what?" Lizzy asks. "Or I'll..." Cooter looks back at Luke who nods. "Or I'll strap you." "You wouldn't." Lizzy says looking away from Bo to look at Cooter. "Wouldn't I?" Cooter asks. "You would?" Lizzy asks slowly standing. "Do you think I would?" "No." Cooter grabs her arm and whispers "Drop your pants." "You'd strap me right here in front of them?" "It's that or go home." Cooter says. Lizzy glares at him but walks across the room. "I hate you." She says before walking out of the room. "Means I'm doing my job." Cooter answers.
"Daisy Mae Duke if you don't go home right now, shower, eat, and get some sleep I will turn you over my knee." Uncle Jesse says. "Daisy please don't argue with him. It's not worth it. I promise I will call with news in 20 minutes." Lizzy says.
