  1. "No you didn't but you're welcome. And yeah I guess I can stay to hear this." Lizzy says.
  2. "Are you sure it's smart for the two of you to go down there? I know what happened between you and Brian and you and Jimmy and I don't want you to get hurt not that there's a chance of that physically." Lizzy says.
  3. "I'm sure Uncle Jesse will be there every step of the way. And no one really knows how to be a parent the first time around most of the time they just wing it. They figure it out along the way. I'm sure between the three of us we'll figure this out too." Lizzy says.
  4. "He doesn't want to lose you but I say he's nuts. As for these producers they generally do up a contract for the story and we can work out a deal so you're in on every step of the writing process." Lizzy says.
  5. "One problem at a time Julie. Daisy you can do this. I'm gonna throw you the best baby shower a woman can ask for and you'll get plenty of the stuff you need and I'm gonna go talk to Boss and see about getting both you and Enos a raise. It's not fair you both aren't making what you should and if Boss won't give it to you then I'll go see Lulu. She's always been rather kind and she'll love this new baby." Lizzy says.
  6. "Daisy she may not think he's actually dead. Brian says it's her coping technique. She'll think of him that way even though she knows he isn't it makes it easier for her." Lizzy says.
  7. "You've got a stable job Daisy and I know Enos makes enough as a deputy you'll be fine." Lizzy says.
  8. "Hi Daisy, Julie, both of you need to calm down. You look fine." Lizzy says.
  9. "You do realize there are only two bones in your forearm right?" Bo says.
  10. Lizzy picks up her ringing phone and answers it tiredly. "Lizzy." She says. "Hey it's Brian." The voice says. "My brother." "No the monkey who do you think." "Hey I thought you were dead." "That's Vidalia's coping technique. She says she'll always remember me and I guess that could be taken as I'm dead but...I'm not. The jail physician says I'm in great health. And with Jimmy as a cell mate I don't figure on offing myself any time soon. He'll call you and tell you if I died before anyone else does though." "Thanks Bri, look I got to go but...I'll talk to you later." Lizzy says. "K love ya bye." Brian says.

  12. Slowly they fall asleep on the couch and when Cooter comes in he flips a blanket over the pair as the storm starts building. He shuts off the tv and notices Lizzy's normal storm related whimpers have subsided to small shivers but even those are rare. Having had dinner on the way home Cooter checks on Heather to see her whimper especially when the storm grows worse and thunder shakes the house. Her eyes open blearily and she slowly stands up. Cooter scoops her up in his arms and walks down the hall. "Come on baby you can sleep with me tonight." He says. "Storm, thunder..." Heather stammers. "All it is is angels bowling. Them and God are gonna have a competition one day and they need all the practice they can get." Cooter says. "Really?" "Yup." Cooter says. Eventually Heather falls asleep next to her grandfather who finds himself drifting off as well.
  13. Lizzy kisses his cheek then curls up in front of him lacing her hand through his.
  14. "So some tv then." Lizzy says flipping the channel as a stupid cartoon comes on.
