  1. Name: Ethaniel Jackson McKleen

    Nickname: Ethan

Age: just turned 22 years old

    Height: 5' 11"

Eye Color: Intensely dark green- gray eyes

Hair color: Dark brown wavy hair with inch long side burns

Vehicle: a red 2004 Cheverolet Avalanche

Ethan is originally from Capital City where he had inheritated his dad's garage that was highly successful when he was running it, but when Ethan's two older brothers got possesion of the garage, it quickly went down hill; due to their rude business management style and the new set of friends they brought in.

When his brothers and their friends drag him to Hazzard, where trouble is soon to follow, Ethan is the one to put a stop to the men his brothers hang out with. Finding friends amongst the Dukes and work with Cooter, he decides to stay in Hazzard, away from his brothers.

  2. Of all the names listed above in the deal...I would highly rather they chose Jessica Biel for the part. I don't know how many of you all has seen an episode or the show of "Seventh Heaven" but Jessica Biel is the actress that plays Mary Camden. The older sister in the family...the one that got into a lot of trouble during the middle half of the season on or so. I think Biel did a great and believeable job as playing Mary and think she would do a much better job at being Daisy than the other two mentioned.

Then again that is only my opinion...

  3. :D I am very interested in getting the Starsky and Hutch DVDs (first have to get a DVD Player  ) It has been forever since I seen the show, but I had enjoyed watching it when it was on TNT before. They need to have more shows out like Starsky and Hutch and the Dukes. Well...that is my opinion for what it is worth.

I had also seen the DVD set at a Walmart close to where I live...it was around that price. Like $35 or so.

  4. I don't have nothin' new to report...I just have to put my two cents in. I agree with y'all.

Last I heard, they were suggesting that Jessica Simpson play Daisy Duke. How much more un-country can we all get now? My own personal opinion, I don't see how they can get any one of them to play Daisy and it coming off as being believable. (Jessica or Brittany). They need to get someone that doesn't have the publicity as being a pop or rock star...perhaps someone in the Country world or something of the sort. My opinion of course.

As for the Duke boys are concerned...I don't know who either one of them is. I have seen a few minutes of "That seventy show" and wasn't very impressed by it at all.

    I guess time will tell...

  5. ***BO DUKE***

Pain slowly registers through my weak body as I fight my way through the harsh darkness that surrounds me, that has swallowed me whole. Momentarily, I fight for understanding, for what had happened, before Bryce's loud scream of fear echos in the back of my mind. The barn...the fire. Fear quickly joins the pain as I fight for strength to open my eyes, to find some light. The last I remember was fighting to rescue Bryce from the back corner that was quickly being swallowed by the harsh fire.

Somewhere in the distance, I hear a series of rapid beeps before silence resumes only for moments later, to hear the beeping once again. My lungs tighten up in fiery pain as I fight to open my eyes, to get some answers, to see where I am at.

After what seems to last an eternity, I am allowed to open my eyes half way to show me little slits of light before I fall back into darkness. Fighting for strength, I continue to fight to open my eyes to soak in more light, to see everyone again. To see Bryce. Silently I say a silent prayer for his health, hoping that he is OK. Despite how I feel about him, it would kill everyone if he were to get hurt in any way. He has helped Jesse move on with his life, giving him reasons to live once again.

"Bo?" comes a familiar voice, sounding distant and silent and I fight to open my eyes to see who it is. After a short moment of struggle, I win the fight to open my eyes to find Luke lying in the hospital bed next to me. Once again confusion streaks through my body at seeing him here in a bed next to me instead of Bryceton, Luke hadn't been anywhere near when the fire had began to evolve. And yet it is Luke. "Bo!" his face widens with excitent at seeing me awake. He slowly grows serious as he asks, "How you feel, Bo?"

I struggle to answer only to choke on the tube that is stuck roughly down my throat and Luke gives me a sympathetic look. An awkward moment passes by before the door is slowly opened and a doctor walks in, his face brightens up at seeing me awake. Silently he moves to me where he silently takes everything in, writing something down on his clip board. "It is good to see you awake," he smiles down at me, "it looks like your breathing has improved...I think we can take the tube out of your throat, perhaps see how that goes."

After a long moment of preperation he roughly yanks the tube out and I am thrown into a coughing attack as I fight for air. Slowly my coughing eases to a stop while my throat remains raw with pain."How you feel?" he slowly asks.

"I hurt," I slowly say in a whisper, "I wanna go home."

"Not yet...you have a few more days before we can even consider you to go home," he grins at me before looking over his shoulder at Luke, "for both of you. For the time being...I think I will let you be and let you rest."

After saying good night the doctor slowly and hesitantly walks out of the small room to disappear behind a closed door. "It's gonna be, OK Bo," Luke slowly says to bring my attention back to him, "the main thing is that you will be OK. You had us all worried there," I painfully shrug as I fight the tears that build in my eyes, "Jesse will be by in the morning...he had to leave a few hours ago due to visiting hours being over."

"How's," I slowly say, taking a long pause to fight for air, "how's Bryce?"

"He only suffered from smoke inhalation...he's fine," Luke carefully answers, "what you did, was very brave. If not for you, Bryce would for sure be dead right now. You saved his life."

I silently shrug as I fight back the sleep that haunts me before I force myself to look over at Luke. "Why you here for?" I slowly ask as I silently take in his bruised body.

"That's not what's important right now...we are both fine," he shrugs while taking me in, "why don't you get some rest."

I go to argue against sleep before I slowly fall into sleep filled with vivid scenes of the fire eating the barn alive, being trapped under burned wood.

  6. :( Well...since I will most likely won't be able to make it to the chat tomorrow night, I figured I would give you what is my favorite DOH episode. :)

There is a lot of good episodes...which makes it hard. I like the first season or the first few episodes that they had aired, I thought they showed more of the characters and more of Hazzard and the farm. Perhaps that is just me

Though if I would have to chose my ALL time favorite episode I would have to say "The Ghost of General Lee". That episode cracked me up. I could watch that episode over and over again and never get tired of it...well any Duke's ep...but especially t hat one. That is the one episode that I don't have on tape, that I wish I would have or could get. :-?

Anyway, there is my favorite episode -"The Ghost of General Lee"! :)

  7. Sounds like a good idea Riddick...I won't be able to make it this Saturday night due to being at my parents' house - animal sitting ;) But perhaps next month or so, I'll be able to catch y'all. :D

  8. ***CHAPTER THREE***

Tears of sadness and anger builds thickly in his bright green eyes as he glares pleadingly at me. "But I want to see them," he slowly begins to whine as he runs the back of his small hand across his cheeks, "Don't they want to see me?"

"Of course they want to see you," I am quick to answer as I kneel down upon one knee in order to be more of his height. I sigh tiredly as he slowly walks over to me, wrapping his thin arms around my shoulders while his tears soak into my thin shirt. Pulling him back a step, I slowly wipe the tears that are spread across his thin cheeks before saying, "It is just some silly regulation...rule the hospital has about children your age visiting someone in the critical unit. You have to be a certain age in order to go visiting."

He looks at me with big green eyes before looking over at Daisy who stands a few feet behind me, talking to Cooter. "Why?" Bryce slowly asks averting his attention back at me, "Why don't they want me to see them?"

I take a deep breath as I fight for the right explanation to tell him, something that he would understand. "Going in there and visiting them, it is hard on adults to see...not alone children. It is a way of protecting them," I finally answer and he glares blankly through me, "protecting you."

"Even you?" he slowly asks as his eyes become alert, "You don't like going to visit them?"

"I never said that...I said it is hard on adults to go in and visit people on this floor. Yes it is very hard for me to go in there," I slowly pause as a thin hand comes to rest upon my shoulder, "and visit them. Not because I don't want to go and see them, I do, it is hard seeing them in the condition they are in. To see them weak and vulnerable while they fight for their lives."

More tears begin to build in his misty eyes as I slowly finish attempting to explain to him. "You mean," his voice is heavy as he fights off his tears, "you mean, they're gonna die?"

Watching large tears melt down his cheeks, my heart tightens at seeing him so sad, at hearing him speak his fears, my own fears. "I hope not," I finally answer, knowing that I can't possibly reassure him by saying they will be fine. "It now lies on the good Lord above and wether he wants them to live or to go to heaven. Perhaps if you go with Daisy and say a little prayer for them to be OK, to return home, perhaps He will answer your prayer."

Bryceton slowly nods as he once again wipes at his face with the back of his hand that holds a Spiderman band-aid where the IV had been placed in at. "OK," he slowly answers glancing back at Daisy who offers out a hand for him, "can you give them something for me? Since I can't go in?"

"Of course I can," I glance at him, wondering what he is going to produce for me to give them. He has nothing on him other than a pair of old hand me down faded jeans, old cowboy boots, and a longsleeved shirt.

A small smile reaches his face as he grabs my hand and slowly places two gentle kiss in the palm of my hand. "My kiss," he finally answers, "my get feelin' better kiss."

"They will love it," I grin at him as I am amazed by the smarts he possesses at his age as I slowly stand up. "You go with Daisy and Cooter, I'll be home before you know it."

"Ok," he smiles through his tears before he slowly takes Daisy's hand and I watch silently as they disappear around the corner and into a brightly lit hall way.

After a brief moment of standing silently in front of a few bench seats, I turn and walk down another hall way towards the boys's room. Walking through the bright lights that shine over the hall way, my mind replays the conversation I had just had with Brcyeton, the love and concern that he consumes him, amazes me by the day.

I slowly reach Bo and Luke's closed hospital door and I silently say a small prayer myself for them to be OK, for Bo to wake up. Finishing my prayer I swiftly shove the door open and walk into the small room to be welcomed by their monitors echoing off of the walls. "Hi Uncle Jesse," Luke speaks up as he glances over his car magazine to see who has entered their room, "Daisy was just in, she says, Bryce gets to go home today. I bet he's excited."

I give him a small comforting smile as I reach the foot of his bed to make my way to the small isle that lies between the two boys. Stiffly sitting down besides the nightstand the two beds share, that seperates the two beds, I glance over at Bo. My heart tightens within me at seeing no change for the better since last night when I had last was here...no change at all since he had first entered the hospital over a week ago. Turning back to Luke, I slowly answer, "Yeah he is on his way home now with Cooter and Daisy. Though he wasn't excited," Luke glances up questionably at me, "He wanted to come say hi to you and Bo...it is against regulatins of this hospital to allow children under the age of sixteen to visit anyone on this floor. That made him pretty upset."

Luke slowly nods as he glances over my shoulder at Bo and his own fear shines brightly in his bright blue eyes, an emotion he has always hid from everyone else; fear. "Well...it may be for the better," he slowly answers forcing his attention from Bo to me.

"Yeah. . .I tried to explain how hard it is for people, adult people, to visit people on this floor, not a lone a child of his age," I sigh as I glance down at my right hand that is tightly clenched into a fist, "Oh yeah, Bryce told me to give you something," I slowly say as I reach up and place my palm that Bryce had given me upon Luke's forehead. Luke glances questionably at me as I turn and do the same to Bo. "A kiss," I smile slightly at him and a broad smile reaches his face, "a get well kiss."

"Well," Luke's grin slowly disappears with a look over my shoulder at Bo and I slowly follow his attention to find Bo's complexion to grow a shade paler, an ahsen color. "you'll have to thank him...from both of us."

"Yeah I will," I answer as I turn around to face Luke, "he will like that."

Other than for the monitors that ring loudly off of the thin walls, silence builds between us as our fears for Bo's health radiates off our bodies as we watch him silently sleep. I slowly run my hand through his thick blond hair and a shiver rushes through my spine at the deathly cold feel of his skin. "He'll be fine, Jesse...he's strong and stubborn," Luke finally speaks up to gather my attention.

"Yeah maybe," I slowly answer as the horrid fire eating away my barn flashes behind my eyes, of watching Luke rush in there in fear for Bo and Bryce. Firemen dressed in their costumes pulling Luke's and Bo's still body out of the fire, displays clearly in the back of my head. Watching him sleep in unconcienceness, my mind slowly wonders, wondering if it had been Bo that they were after and Bryce just happened to be there. Or perhaps who ever is doing this is after all of us for some unknown reason.

  9. Talking of the TVland awards - whatever they call them - if you watch TV Land and watch for the commercial for the award show - you will find John Schneider at the end. It displays several people talking about shows or what not, John is the last guy to talk. . .boy he looks as good as ever!

  10. "Garrett!" Kristy jumps to his feet the moment Brian mutters something about getting him out of there. Defensivly she jumps to her feet, glancing over at Luke and Jesse for help.

Silently Luke nods as he takes a couple of steps forward and motions to someone in the back. Glaring back at Kristy, Kristy seeks the worry that drips from Luke's blue eyes as he places a hand on a post. "Go see if you can find a doctor...someone with some medical experience," he says barely over a whisper, "we will need to get him to a hospital as soon as possible."

Silently Kristy nods as she turns around almost running into Bo who walks up with Cooter. "I'm sorry," Bo fights to hide his worry out of his voice as he draws his sister into a tight hug, "he tried."

"Yeah perhaps," Kristy shrugs before peeling loose to search for a doctor to help her brother as thoughts rush through her head. Running a quick hand over her eyes to attempt to dry her tears and to fight back any tears, she searches the crowded arena.

For a short moment Kristy searches frantically for either a phone or some sort of physician in hope of helping her brother. Abruptly her thoughts draw her up short and she turns around to find Bo, Luke, Cooter, and Jesse in the ring, all kneeling around Garrett's still body that leaks blood like a water fall. "Damn," she says out of frusteration as Luke slowly rolls Garrett's twisted and broken body over as they try to find a way to carry him out of the ring. From where she stands, she hears no yell or gasp of pain leave from Garrett as she had expected to hear from them moving his twisted body.

Slowly she forces herself to turn and search for a phone before slowly finding one. Hurriedly she rushes over there and shoves forcefully on the numbers that connect her to the hospital. As a soft female's voice comes on the line, Kristy explains what happened and where they are in an exasperated voice. With the confirmation that an ambulance is on it's way, Kristy slams down the reciever before she rushes through the path that she had taken.

As she returns to her seat, she finds Garrett laying silently still on the cold floor with Luke and Bo hovering over him. Blood continues to flood from his nose. "H...how is he?" Kristy stutters in fear to hear the answer. "I called for an ambulance."

Luke nods in acknowledgement as he pulls out a handkerchief that is quickly drenched in Garrett's blood as he attempts to put it to his swollen nose. "I don't know...unconscience at the moment," Luke slowly answers, "He's having a difficult time breathing through the blood and his broken nose."

Kristy nods slowly in understanding as a single tear slowly streaks down her right cheek as she weakly finds a seat near by, where she is soon accompanied by Jesse and Cooter; who attempts to comfort her.

  11. Kristy yells out in fear as she watches her brother being sweeped violently down onto the hard matt. Tears brim her eyes as she watches the blood flow from under his smashed in face as the angry Coltrane violent grabs hold of Garrett through different holds. Rushing protectively to the ring she is once again brushed back, ordered to sit with the rest of the visitors. Anger rushes through her at the gaurd but more so at the Coltrane that shows no mercy. Even angry at her brother for being so stupid as in not surrendering when he knew his chances were shot. That's Garrett for you.

Horrified Kristy stares silently at the matt, at her brother being tightly held down, his face now being shoved angrily down into the matt. She is over come with panic as she forces herself to long breaths, fighting to remember to breath. Watching her brother lie on the matt, showing little use of struggle or any room to struggle, she fights back the thought of how far this fight may take him. Her kids would never forgive her if she had to go home to tell them that they may never see their uncle again. But that's life and she had tried to warn him off, but offer Garrett a fight and he is sure to enter...and not to surrender until the end. The end should have been long ago. "Damn it," she mutters wiping at her tear streaked face.

"Shhh it'll be ok," Kristy jumps in startlement as a strong caring hand lands on her right shoulder. Slowly she glances up to find Uncle Jesse sitting next to her with Luke sitting on her other side.

"It'll be ok?" she snaps looking up at Garrett, "How do you see it bein' OK? Garrett is up there getting his tail kicked...and bad. Who knows how far it will go. Damn him! Him and his damn ego always getting in the way, getting him either hurt or in trouble!"

Both men look at me in amazement to hear my temper through my raised voice before Jesse presses me into him. "I know sweetie," he sighs through, his blue eyes shine in his own worry, "that all is a Duke trait...a negative in most account. Bo is the same way...so was or is your dad. It is up to him."

"One other thing," Luke speaks up besides her, "us Dukes...we all stick together no matter what."

  12. Kristy silently watches the silent signals that Lex and Eagle seems to send one another as she slowly takes another long drink, in a false hope to drown past the past that continues to haunt her.

"She's right, you're not going to be sitting here by yourself!" comes a familiar voice from behind, to make Kristy abruptly set down her drink. Kristy yelps in surprise as a strong muscular hand gently reaches her right arm to drag her to her feet before she is able to look up to see who it is.

Fighting to catch up enough to see who it was leading her out to the dance floor she sends Lex a thick questioning look, wondering what Lex's plans were for her. Slowly the man finds a opening space in the dance floor in time for the DJ to slowly switch songs, the high paced music is replaced by Lonestar's huge hit, "Amazed."

Kristy slowly is pulled tight against the man's chest, reaching his chin. Looking up, her heart comes to an abrupt stop in surprised excitement at seeing it to be LB Davenport. "LB," she smiles at him, taking in his tight dark blue button up shirt and a pair of ungrease stained tight light blue jeans over his regular black cowboy boots, "you look great."

"Thanks, you don't look too bad yerself," he grins down at Kristy, displaying a freshly shaved face, a gleam of happiness shines in his greenish brown eyes as he gently kisses her on the cheek before holding her tight to him.

Kristy smiles as she holds him tightly as they dance to the music that plays on the speakers.

  13. Kristy gives Lex and her friend a friendly smile as she takes a slow drink while thinking of her response. "Well," she finally says placing the clear bottle back down to take in her new company, "I'd feel a bit akward getting some boogying done all myself and I ain't too good at joining in on things."

Kristy glances around the room, taking in the familiar faces that are scattered around the dance floor. "Plus I haven't been in one of these in what seems to be ages now. It was before I had kids that is for sure, perhaps even before I met Trevor," her voice weakens with akwardness and uncertainity at mentioning her ex-husband's name, the one she continues to fight to forget. Struggling to regain her confidence she smiles at Lex and her friend, "It is sure glad to see everyone out having fun and all. It sure is great to see you here, thank-you for joining me. Now I won't have to feel so akward."

  14. Sitting in the old bar stool, Kristy slowly sips at the ice cold bottle of beer that lays ahead of her. Hesitantly she turns in her seat to watch the several people that dance freely on the dance floor, a few that she recognizes from Hazzard, several people she has never seen before. Feeling the upbeat music the DJ is playing loudly, she happily taps the table along with the beat.

  15. A smile reaches Kristy's face as she waves back at the young doctor on the dance floor with Min, before waving to Val as she makes her way to the table where Val sits.

"I can't believe I am doing this," Kristy smiles as she sits down besides Val before a young cute waiter comes to ask for her order.

Kristy glances up at the tall thin dark brown haired man with piercing green eyes that holds a thin dark shadow of a beard and mustach. "I'll have a Smernoff Ice."

"It's on it's way," he grins a large bright white smile at her before he slowly walks away to attrieve her drink.

Kristy watches with a little interest as the waiter disappears behind the bar before turning to everyone. "I didn't mean to be so late...had a hard time talking myself to come back to Atlanta. But here I am, what I miss?"

  16. Kristy is filled with a sinking sense of un-trust as she watches the valet slowly climb into her big four by four Silverado. Standing in the chilly evening she watches as her truck is slowly being driven away by some stranger, a stranger she has never met before, driving her truck. Letting go of a deep breath she didn't know she was holding, Kristy slowly turns her back to the disappearing tail lights of her truck as she forces herself to loosen up, to have a good night.

For a short moment she watches as people slowly enter and exit the dance club, in couples or by themselves. 'Here goes nothing,' she thinks as she places a small smile on her face as she slowly follows a young couple through the thick double glass doors. Inside Kristy slowly glances around the dark area, awaiting for her eyes to slowly adjust to the darkness of the dance club.

Spotting a coat rack to the left of the doors she stiffly takes off her expensive black leather coat to hang upon one of the hangers. Nervously, she places her hands into the pockets of her her tight fitting faded blue jeans, as she momentarily thinks of the last time she had been in Atlanta. The last she had been in Atlanta had been a year and a few months ago, on escaping from her ex-husband.

'Damn it' she sighs angrily at herself at allowing herself to think of the past, of the last time she had ventured to Atlanta. Tonight was suppose to be about fun and fun was what she planned on doing. Yanking her hands out of her pockets she straightens out her tight red t-shirt before she slowly moves past the entry way and into the dance area. The music roars from speakers of an up-beat music that quickly makes her lose the thought of her nightmarish past. Feeling the music while she walks past tables and past people dancing with one another or seperate, she scans the area looking for her friends from Hazzard that she was suppose to meet here.

  17. I voted as well...so who knows, if there is enough out there voting and all...

It would be great to have the Dukes back on TV once again...that was part of the few things I had looked foreward everyday. It'd sure be an incentive for me to get cable then....khee. I have most of every episode on tape...alot from Columbia House...the one episode I wish I had is "The Ghost of General Lee" that is one of my favorite episodes.

Anyhow...hopefully they both get enough votes to make it.

  18. Kristy suddenly looks up with fear racing through her with the urgency placed in the doctor's voice. Everyone's attention turns to the young doctor leaning over Boss' still body that lies on the dusty ground. "Boss!" Rosco says, his voice dripping with feared concern as he rushes over to the lying man while holding the sleeping baby.

Kristy looks around for a brief moment before letting her kids stay with family as she runs to attrive the bag. After a short moment of searching through the doctor's vehicle she finds and quickly returns it to the doctor. "What do you want me to do?"

Watching the young doctor concentrating in worry at looking over Boss, Kristy is filled with thick guilt at her excitement that she displayed at Garrett's winning. She didn't loose her brother to Hogg, but perhaps, now her friendship with Chance.

"I'll go call for an ambulance, " Luke speaks up from the back somewhere as Kristy stares silently, filled with dread.

  19. "You did it!" Kristy yells giddily as she runs over to the finish line where Garrett slowly turns off the engine while roughly throwing down the quick stand. "You won. . ." slowly her excitement tampers down increasingly as she looks over her brother's muscular shoulder to find Chance slowly standing up, starting to push her bike to the finish line.

"Yeah I won," Garrett lets off a confident smile, a smile that had caught him several girl friends in Knoxville, before moving to Hazzard. His grin slowly melts as he catches a hint of Kristy's worry, "What's wrong Kris?"

"You won," she looks up into his smokey gray-blue eyes for a long moment to search for answers, "which means, Chance lost her office."

"Yeah," Garrett answers softly glancing over Kristy's shoulder to find the aging sheriff stiffly walking towards them, "but there was no way I was about to lose that race...or go to jail for that matter."

"You wouldn't have gone to jail," a caring but stern voice comes behind Kristy to make her jump around in surprise, "just like I'll make sure Chance gets her office back."

Momentarily Garrett and Kristy exchanges a silent look before glancing back at Rosco with questionable looks etched in their faces. "How you plannin' that doin' that?" Garrett asks with a hint of sarcasm in his voice as the rest of the Duke family slowly approaches them, "You know as well as we know that once Hogg has his mind set on somethin' , he plans on goin' through with it. Especially if it has something to do with money...which he'd make if he owned Chance's office, plus a doctor he could control. No Rosco...he's not about to change his mind about taking Chance's office, he may even find a way of arresting me again."

Rosco shoots a hard glare at Garrett with his bright crystal blue eyes before he slowly glances back down at the dusty ground at his feet. "Well," he finally says after a long moment of silence, "I have already made my first move of stopping Hogg from taking Chance's office. He goes through with it, I'll go through with my threat."

"Mommy," Kristy's four year old daughter squeals with delight and brushes away from holding Bo's hand to run over to her mom. Kristy bends down to give her a quick hug before standing up to take her hand. Looking over at Rosco, her boss, her heart tightens at the sight of how sad he looks or how angry he looks; something she has never seen from him before.

"What happened to your badge, Rosco?" Luke asks, his voice thick of worry and concern, as he places a caring hand upon Bo's shoulder.

"My badge?" Rosco asks distractedly as he looks down at his uniform where his badge had once been pinned to, "Well, " he hesitates for a long moment as he takes in every Duke face that crowds around him, taking off his hat he continues, "that was part of my threat...I quit. I can't work with a man that low and do all that he has been doing...to you Dukes or to Chance. I've taken all I could from that man...and now I put an end to it."

"Rosco," Daisy says silently as she bends over to give him a gentle hug, while holding Kristy's nine month old son, Shay. Slowly she steps away from her hug with grief and worry written across her tan face as Shay lets out an innocent giggle to send everyone's attention onto him. He grins in excitement at attracting some attention before he throws his small chubby arms up towards Rosco, nearly jumping into Rosco's uncertain arms.

"I guess he wants me to hold him," Rosco says, his voice quivers with un-certainity as he looks up at Kristy for approval. Kristy lends him a comforting smile and nods at him. "Hi," Rosco smiles at the baby while making faces at the thin bright blond haired boy who smiles while grabbing at Rosco's hat that he has placed back on his head.

Daisy smiles as she places a hand upon Kristy's thin shoulder while watching Shay play with Rosco's uniform and hat. Shay bursts out laughing as Rosco begins to make noises at him while making faces. "Well...I think I am going to go help Chance," Daisy says before turning to run back to where Chance is.

"He seems to like you Rosco," Kristy smiles at Rosco as she watches them play for a while.

"Yeah really...he won't even let me touch him," Luke resorts while shooting a glance at Bo who watches silently. Silence is filled as they watch Shay for a long moment before Luke breaks the silence, "We can't let you quit over this Rosco. . .I mean, Hazzard wouldn't be Hazzard without you."

"A better Hazzard maybe," Rosco says seriously, looking over Shay's head at the Duke family, "I would be guessing you all would be the ones that would be most happy. I mean after all them speeding ticket I gave you, the false arrests, the chases...all that I did to you."

"It wasn't anything too serious," Bo adds looking up at Jesse who has remained silent, "I think I'd miss the chase if you were to quit...it keeps me well practiced for any race."

"Perhaps," Rosco says as Shay slowly stops playing with his hat to lean into Rosco and gives him a hug. A tear forms in Rosco's blue eye as he hugs the small baby back to get a giggle out of Shay before Shay rests his head on Rosco's shoulder.

"Quittin' is not the answer here Rosco. . .Hogg is the one behind the frame ups and Hogg is the one that set the charges here. Don't let him bully you into quiting," Jesse finally speaks up, "there has to be another solution...another way."

"I wish there was Jesse," Rosco says serously before glancing down at Shay who has fallen asleep to bring a smile to his face, "but for now, this will work."

"He seems rather fond of you Rosco," Kristy smiles as she places a hand on Rosco's shoulder while pointing to Shay, "you even got him to sleep. You want me to take him?"

Rosco offers her an smile before looking back down at the sleeping baby. "No, he's fine," he urges, "unless you want him."

"Nope, he's fine with you. I was just making sure," Kristy answers, "As Jesse says, there has to be a better way to drop the charges. Hazzard would be missing out by losing you as a sheriff."

  20. Startled by Rosco's thick serious tone, both Kristy and Garrett quickly whirl around to find Rosco standing a foot behind them. Silently they both seem to take in the county's well known sheriff as he stands ahead of them, with hat in hands. "What was that, sheriff?" Garrett finally asks in disbelief, "I don't believe I heard you right."

"You heard me right, Duke," Rosco finally says looking at the young rugged Duke boy, his usaully bright blue eyes seem dim with the sheriff's apologetical stare. For a short moment Rosco is drowned by his silence as he takes a long look around the track before returning to Kristy and Garrett, "I can't allow Hogg to do this to you. . .to Chance."

Holding tightly onto his scratched helmet Garrett shoots a disbelieving glance over to Kristy who only steps closer to Rosco to place a caring hand upon his tense right shoulder. "I am really glad that you came around to us, Rosco," Kristy finally says as she fights with the right words, "but what about Boss? He ain't gonna be exactly thrilled to hear you bein' on our side for once...or should I say, against him. And him being your boss..." Kristy allows that to drag as she looks over her shoulder at Daisy who holds Shay and Jesse who plays with Jamie.

Garrett quickly looks away from his older sister who is talking to the local sheriff at the commotion that begins to swarm the track. "Damn," he mutters as he watches the assortment of bikes begin to line up and start their engines. Placing his helmet upon his short sandy blond hair he looks up at Kristy and Rosco before turning on his own engine.

Rosco slowly offers Kristy a small comforting smile from his grim angry expression that had crossed over his dark piercing blue eyes. "I know he's my boss and I have allowed him to walk all over me to get what he wants," Rosco finally says, his eyes show a full force of determination, "but him firing you and now this?! This time he has gone too far. Garrett you go out and race, do your best to win. I will try my best to think of something."

Garrett slowly nods before he joins the rest of the bikers at the starting line, taking in his compitition while he awaits for the gun to go off to start the race.
