Konrad Lee Duke

"Hey don't mind us we'll be probably be makin' out as well." Cooter grinned which earned him a look from Konrad. Daisy just laughed seeing the look on her brother's face. "Don't worry i'll be sure he behaves," She assured. Konrad just rolled his eyes as he went around to open the car door for B.L.

He lead B.L. outside when Cooter and Daisy followed. Since Bo took Dixie and Luke took the General. They were all going in the Mustang. "Yeah ya will B, 'cause we're goin' with ya." Cooter said. Konrad moved the front seat forward so Cooter and Daisy could climb in the back seat.

Daisy grinned when Luke told them. "Finally asked her out huh?" She said. "Yeah," He looked at the clock. "Better go pick her up." He said grabbing his jacket. "See ya there, Lukas." Cooter said. "Bye." Luke said heading out the door and jumping into the General which got a cleaned up this morning. Luke wouldn't let Bo take the General out all day because he wanted the car clean when he went to pick up Mabel. "Ready." Konrad replied after they said their goodbye's to Luke.

Trying to look as innocently as possible Konrad grinned at what B.L. said. "why don't ya tell us what you wouldn't do just to make sure we don't." Daisy said back and turned to look at Luke, she gave a wolf whistle as well. "Wow don't you look nice sugar" She smiled and went over to him fixing a few things on his shirt in a sort of motherly fashion. Luke grinned when B.L. asked him. He wanted to keep it a secret from Bo just to annoy him. Now that Bo was gone to pick up his own date Luke decided to tell them. "Mabel Tillingham..." Luke said grinning.

Konrad grinned as he saw B.L. blush. He loved making her blush, she looked more beautiful when she was blushing. He followed her gaze to Cooter and Daisy. Daisy turned to grin at B.L. and gave her a look that Cooter was indeed her date to the dance. "Now Cooter, ya know the drill..." Konrad grinned. "Yeah same goes for you too....." Cooter grinned back. Luke came back into the room where the others where waiting. He had finished getting ready.

He smiled as B.L. came to him and gave him a peck. He put his arm around her. "With you lookin' a beautiful as ya are i'm gonna have a hard time keepin' my mind on dancin'...." He said quietly to her and gave her a wink. Luke had disappeared back in his and Bo's bedroom to finish getting ready. Daisy smiled when she saw Cooter, she had to admit he scrubbed up pretty nice. She came over to him and smiled shyly. "Hey sugar" She greeted. "Hey, you look great." He smiled. "So do you." She replied.

"Bye." Both Konrad and Cooter echoed as Bo went out to pick up his date. "So Luke, who ya takin' to the dance?" Konrad asked. "You'll have to see…" Luke smiled. "Aww come on Luke…." Cooter prompted. The conversation soon stopped when Daisy and B.L. came into the room. All the boys let out appreciative wolf whistles.

Konrad pulled the car up at the Duke farm a short time later. They walked into the house and spotted Bo and Luke in the living room. "Hey Bo, Luke." Konrad greeted. "Hey." Cooter greeted as well as they came into the room. "Hey Kon, Cooter. Daisy ad B.L. are still getting ready." Luke replied tucking in his shirt. From her bedroom Daisy heard a car pull up. "They guys are here." She said excitedly.

"Come on let's go." Cooter came back in the bathroom 5 minutes later. "Almost done." Konrad replied, again playing with his hair. "Yeah ya done now. Come on." Cooter said thinking the only way to get him away from the mirror was to drag him. "Alright, alright i'm comin'...." Konrad said following his friend downstairs. Grabbing the keys the boys went out to the yellow and black Mustang. ~~~~ "Yeah good idea." Luke agreed to the idea of asking Daisy. He made his way to her room where the grils were getting ready. He knocked on the door. "Daisy? have you seen my shirt?" He called. Daisy grinned at B.L. and shook her head not wanted to tell her who it was. She thought it was funny keeping her in suspense because B.L. knew the guy quite well. She sat on her bed putting her shoes on when she heard the knock on the door. "Which one?" She called back. "The plain blue one." Luke replied. "In the basket in the living room." "Thanks Daisy." Luke said and went to the basket in the living room and indeed found his shirt folded neatly on the top of the newly ironed pile.

Now with the hair problem out he way Konrad decided just to give it a brushing. Now he was finally happy with his appearance he was ready to pick up B.L. "If ya bought that one fer tanight then why did ya change six times?" Cooter asked. "I wasn't sure about it at first." Konrad replied doing some final touches. ~~~~ "The plain blue one." Luke said searching another draw for the missing shirt. She grinned back at B.L. and winked. "You'll never guess." She said teasingly. She never told B.L. who asked her to the dance. She was wearing this beige red number that frilled down the side.

Konrad finally decided on a black shirt embroidered with black shiny beads and his good pair of jeans that he bought the other day just for this occasion. He also put on his new boots. He didn't notice Cooter came up behind him. "And i thought the girls were picky about their looks..." He grinned. Konrad gave him a scowl through the mirror. "You hush." He said and played with his reasonably long hair wondering what to to with it. ~~~~ "You look great. He's sure gonna like that." Daisy grinned approvingly at B.L.'s choice. Luke was running around the house trying to find his shirt he was going to wear and came in to the bedroom to asked Bo. "Bo have you seen my shirt?" He asked looking through the wardrobe.

Meanwhile over at the Davenport farm where it was much more roomy and less hectic then over at the Duke farm, and also a lot less competition for the bathroom. Konrad Duke studied his appearance in the mirror. "Ya sure this looks ok?" Konrad asked with a frown on uncertainty. "Yeah it's fine." Replied his friend and his date's cousin, Cooter Davenport. "Ya changed 5 times already i sware ya worse then a woman" Cooter laughed as a pillow was thrown his way and easily dodged it. "You're a great help." Konrad grumbled, "No this won't do at all...." He finally decided and changed for the sixth time.

Konrad Lee Duke is the older brother of Daisy by about a year. He grew up in Atlanta with his aunt on his mothers side while Daisy lived with Uncle Jesse and his wife Lavinia in Hazzard. Standing about 6 foot, Konrad had a slender but average muscular build. He has blue eyes with brown hair that reaches just up to his chin. Just like Bo and Luke trouble seems to find him then he finds it. His personality is easy going. He has a good scene of humour and is willing to do anything to protect his family and friends. His pride and joy and also his bestest friend is a 2004 40th anniversary Ford Mustang GT-R (as seen below). They have gone through a lot together over the years and Messiah has always managed to bring him out of trouble more times then he can count. Messiah as the car is known is a deep yellow colour with a black carbon fibre hood. The licence plate says "MESSIAH" is where the car got its name from. The car is fitted out with the latest racing parts which include a full roll cage and powerful engine, mostly thanks to the underground street racing in scene in Atlanta. But Messiah isn't built for jumping over creeks like the General; she keeps her four wheels mostly on the ground. Years ago before he moved back to Atlanta he stayed with Uncle Jesse, Daisy, Bo and Luke, but with the three boys all under one roof things got a little crowded. So Konrad moved over to his friend, Cooter and lived over at the Davenport farm and took up the spare guest room downstairs. His dog, shadow, is a German Sheppard that got abandoned when he was a pup on the side of the road. Luckily Konrad found the little fella and has had him ever since. Shadow usually wares a bandanna around his neck and stands about 2’5†from paw to his shoulder. He was well trained, and would protect his master if Konrad called him to do it.
