Daisy nodded and smiled at her Uncle, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind and kissing his cheek. "You take care Uncle Jesse, if ya need help with the boys or there's any drastic change you give us a call after ya call the Doc alright?" Bo sighed and nodded gently, not sure how much he would be able to eat, but it did taste nice and he had missed eating for a long time. He swallowed slightly, and looked over at Luke. "Could ya...help me get some...some water?"

Bo turned his head away as Luke lifted the bowl. He didn't actually know at this point when it would be enough to eat and when it wouldn't because at the moment his stomach seemed to decide that for him. He didn't get any say over whether or not it was enough, he just went along for the ride. "Luke...don't...."

Daisy nodded "Yeah maybe....the thing is though....sometimes we just have to give in to him....otherwise it just makes him worse and its hard to tell when it makes him worse and when it doesn't." Bo actually felt surprised that swallowing the Jello wasn't half as hard as swallowing the water, and it didn't feel too bad on his stomach. He still warned Luke though. "Luke if you make me throw up....your cleanin' it up."

Daisy laughed "You got that right. Luke's startin' ta be a bit more like the ol' Luke we know and love, not lettin' Bo get away with anything." Bo groaned again but opened his mouth and took in the Jello anyway, knowing in the mood Luke was in he was more than likely to pinch his nose and force it down his throat, which he had remembered both him and Uncle Jesse doing before now.

Daisy nodded and started eating her breakfast. "Yeah, I can understand how he's feelin'....he's close to ya....but havin' you help him in his head is just like havin'...I dunno....Cooter helpin' him so much or somethin'. Bo groaned and rolled his eyes. "Luke yer...worse than Daisy when she's bein' a mother hen sometimes...

Bo shook his head gently. "You's helped so much already....take a load off for a while..." The truth behind those words was, really, that he was still a little insecure with having his friend helping him so much. His family he could just about cope with, but knowing that B.L had been doing all that they had and possibly more kinda made him feel a little bit guilty. Daisy smiled and shook her head gently, pulling B.L out the room. "When Bo's being like that, just let Luke handle him."

Daisy laughed and gently handed Luke his plate and the cutlery, also passing him a small mat for him to rest it on. "Not me sugar, I got work today. Have to make up for all the time I took of when Bo was in hospital." She gently took the bowl from B.L and sat next to Bo. "You want me to do this for ya Bo....or would ya rather you did it yerself...." Bo swallowed slightly and bit his bottom lip. He didn't want to ask for help but knew he was going to need it. Truth be told though, he was more concerned about Daisy getting her strength up by eating her breakfast before she headed off to work. "I'll be alright....you just go get yer breakfast..." Daisy sighed. "Bo..." "Don't you...Bo me now, git." Daisy shook her head and laughed a little. "Your sounding more like Uncle Jesse everyday."

Daisy smiled gratefully at Jesse, knowing that usually Luke would have been made to come and eat with the rest of them, but this time was too important for that to be done. "We'll be back in a minute." She picked up the bowl of Jell-O and Luke's plate of food and gently carried it into the room, knocking slightly on the door with her elbow. "Hey boys...breakfast in bed this mornin'." Bo, who had been in the process of gently digging the tips of his fingers into Luke's side, looked over at the girls and smiled gently and gratefully at them, noticing that he had his and Luke's all time favourite dessert of Jell-O for breakfast. He didn't know how much of it he could eat...but he knew Luke would get as much of it down him as was humanly possible.

Bo shook his head gently, stretching his cramped leg muscles gently. He wasn't really tired, he felt like he had been sleeping for a little over a year and yet his body seemed unwilling to accept that. His mind wasn't tired, but the rest of him seemed to be. "I ain't tired Luke....just...weak as a newborn kitten...." Daisy smiled and nodded, thinking the same as B.L. She gently loaded up a plate for Luke to eat and looked over at Jesse. "I'll take Bo and Luke's to them in their room. I don't think Bo should be gettin' out of bed at the moment and I doubt Luke'd want ta leave him on his own..."

Bo nodded gently and relaxed more into Luke's embrace, squeezing his hand a little as he leant back against the pillows and headboard a little more, feeling the weakness come over him again. Daisy smiled as she placed everything on the table, sighing in agreement with B.L. "I know...its been almost two weeks now since Bo first started acting wierdly... As Uncle Jesse came in she walked over and wrapped her arms around his waist before he walked over to his seat. "No, they were both laughing a little a while ago."

Bo grins and lets his hand slide down Luke's face to his side, looking out the window at the gentle sunrise that was starting to appear. "I didn't realise it was....so early..." Daisy noticed too and nodded, starting to serve up the food. "Yeah....always count on Luke to be able to make Bo laugh no matter what he's feeling."

Bo grinned back at the scowl, slapping Luke's cheek a little, punctuating his words. "Awww, is ickle Lukie gettin' embarrassed?"

Bo nodded, remebering how Luke had gotten a bit too drunk on Uncle Jesse's shine and made the mistake of letting him find out...Luke couldn't sit down for a good few days after that. Bo chucked slightly, seeing the perfect opening to get back at Luke for the hair ruffling. Gently pinching his cheek and shaking it like grandma's do when they're telling you annoyingly for the 5th time how cute you've gotten. "Luke was a naughty boy...."

Bo wriggled away slightly and poked Luke lightly back, laughing a little "No I ain't....well I think I might have done now...."

Bo nodded "Yeah I remember that....got a switchin' that night fer yellin' at Uncle Jesse ya go get ya, and when he refused ta I yelled and screamed some more....."

Bo frowned slightly "Not so much....I was fairly young when that happened...." He laughed "I do remember that Rosco was cussin' ya because ya seemed ta just take it in yer stride....even insulted him!"

Bo smiled, thinking that his cousin was still the same old protective Luke he had always been...in fact he couldn't remember a time when Luke hadn't been protective..... He turned to Luke as he recalled one time. "Ya remember the first time Rosco ever locked me up in the Pokey by myself...."

Bo sighed and swallowed the lump that had risen in his throat. Hearing Luke say that about him always had made him feel important. In many ways Luke was like a hero to Bo, Luke was the one he always followed, always learnt life's lessons off of half the time. In his mind when they were younger, he had always believed that there was nothing that Luke couldn't do...he had got into many many fights about it at school....although he always told Jesse and Luke it was about some bullying problem with his friends or something.

Bo shook his head, knowing full well that Luke would have been able to find a way out of it. "Nah Luke....you'd have found a way out of it....ya always did....we are both great driver's now....back then....I was still learnin' the trick's off of ya...."

Bo looked down at his lap as he smiled and remembered that rush, the feeling of having your heart practically in your throat as you stumbled through the foliage of the woods, hearing footsteps and shoutings coming after you as the shine bottles clancked at your side. He just wished that they had never been well and truly caught one night, they night that had started their whole probation and leaving Jesse fighting for whatever money they could scrape. He had never told Luke how he felt about that....him being the one that was driving the car he had harboured a lot of guilt for the first few months after Jesse making the deal but he had never told him. Now that all he could see as his future was a hole in the ground with a cold grey tombstone at its head.....he figured this was as good a time as any. "Luke...i'm sorry fer gettin' us caught that night....."

Bo grinned and nodded. "Do I?! You had me run so fast into those woods with those jugs o'shine....I dang near couldn't breath when ya finally got round to findin' me! Kinda hard ta forget the rush when we's was bein' chased though..."

Bo grinned more at the look on his cousin's face, and raised his eyebrows and slightly tilting his head as he answered "Well...was a mix really...she wanted ta get drunk fer a bet....I said we use shine...I won the bet...."

Daisy nodded, still keeping her attention on the breakfast. "Yeah that'd be good...." Bo smiled and nodded. "Countless number o'time....the first time after she said that she was with me..." He looked over to Luke, seeing the confused look on his face, knowing it took a heck of a lot to get Bo drunk. " you 'member when I came in completly out of it that night when Uncle Jesse and Daisy had gone away....ya yelled at me fer worryin' ya by comin' in so late....I said I'd been down at the Boar's Nest...." Waits for Luke to nod his head before continuing. "Well...we'd been at one of the still sites....drinkin' shine...."

Daisy looked over and smiled "Ah don't worry, Bo loves that stuff, and so does Luke...for some strange reason....and it should help keep his blood sugars up as well..." Bo nodded and laughed slightly. "Yeah....took us a whole day ta convince her she wasn't..." He fell silent, not wanting to relay to Luke that that was exactly how he felt at this particular point.

Daisy nodded and smiled her thanks over to B.L, realising now that B.L hadn't actually been to her house since Bo had been in the hospital. "I think there might be somethin' in the cupboard over there..." Bo smiled gently as Luke recounted the memory, laughing slightly and nodding at certain points. When Luke had finished, Bo sighed softly and shifted his hand into Luke's opposite one, clasping it firmly as though they were about to arm wrestle.... "Remember this one Luke?.....The night we...became blood brothers...."
