I was wondering if anyone knows if or when any of the new merchandise comes out like cars or anything. I heard the original soundtrack from the series comes out July 26th I think but will there be anything else? Where or When? Anybody know?

Hi!! Well Dukesfest is this weekend and unfortunately I can't afford to go. But I do wonder if any Bo fans are going to make it and if I can ask a big favor if at all possible? The one thing I have always wanted to do is meet John Schneider. It has never been possible because A. I can't afford it and B. it is usually too far away from where I live. A couple of weeks ago I met Catherine Bach at a convention at Novi Mi and she encouraged me to go to his appearance in Illinois. She told me how worth it it would be for me to and she said he is the nicest man in the whole world. And that is a qoute right from Daisy!! I would love to go but having an almost 20 year old car I am sure it would die on the way in an 8 to 10 hour drive. But what I was wondering is if anyone makes it to Dukes fest and is lucky enought to meet John, would anyone be able to just get me an autograph? I would offer some money for somone taking the time to do that for me. I know it is a huge favor but I was just curious. I don't want to ruin anyones fun doing something for somone they do not know. But it would mean an awful lot to me! I know it is down to the wire on this request but if anyone can find it in their heart to do that I would think it is so nice. I have tried checking for appearances but like I said nothing has been able to work out for me. I just think he is a wonderful person who would be so nice to meet. I just think it is wonderful all the things he does to help people and children and it is all so wonderful to read about. It does make you believe Angels still exist and sometimes God does send one down to make people happy and smile. If there are any other angels out there that can do that for me please let me know. And if you are lucky enough to meet him shake his hand for me too. Thanks.

I think it would be a cool idea since the show is back and so many more people are getting in to it to have like a small tour or something so that people from other states who cannott go or cannott afford the trip can still get a chance. Might be a cool idea?

Yeah I agree that is how they should go about it. It will go over way better that way!!

I just wanted to share with ya'all I met her this past weekend in Novi Mi. She is a very nice person and i got my picture with her and got to talk to her a little. She did not seem too different than she did on the show at all. She seems like a real sweetheart!! She loved my Dukes shirt I had on too!!!

Well I peeked over everyones replies and everyone seems to have the point of view I have. Or at least 80% of ya'all. I guess the more I think of it the movie is gonna have the same effect I guess kind of like the whole "Coy and Vance" period of the show. It is hard to see different people playing the characters we have known and loved for 26 years and hate to see them get replaced. Hopefully that is not what is gonna happen and I am so glad that CMT is airing the original show before this movie comes out so kids can see what we all saw first. I believe that what is happening is yes another "Coy and Vance" period. The people making the movie want us to accept these actors the same way that they wanted us to accept those 2 gentlemen back in 1982. We all know how well that went!!!!! But I have to say as a die hard fan I will always love the original. It just can't be replaced because all of us die hard fans won't let that happen movie or no movie. We want to keep that alive no matter how many years pass!! I mean it was a great show and helped influence a lot of who I am today. I have always been big into muscle cars and have to say I am one heck of an archer to this day!! I know I am not the only person who can say the show influenced me it did a lot of us growing up back then!!! And that is why I know we are worried about the influence the new movie will have on kids now and such!!!!! Thanks for listining to me Ya'all!!!!!

I just thought of another one I thought was cute. In High Octane when the New Probation office passed out after smelling the Shine Bo looks at Luke and says "Hey Luke do you you think she needs mouth to mouth recreation?" Luke-"Don't you mean resusitation?" Bo replies he believes the prior!

The one I thought I was really cute was in Limo one is Missing when he says "There couldn't have been more than a gallon in that one gallon can of gas!" Luke- "You don't say in a one gallon can!" Bo- "I can't believe I just said that either!!"

I just thought I would put in my two cents about the new movie. I have to say I have read all the comments for and agianst. I know that I am not gonna see it because I just can't stand the whole reason behind it. All they did for a cast is pick whoever is popular right now. They are aiming it at Teens and Adults. O.K. that's cool but however what they are gonna see is not what the show was intended to be. A family show. I saw scene clips on another website like one scene had Jessica Simpson dancing in like some thong thing. Daisy would have NEVER done that. I know some people are saying to give it a chance and yeah I agree you don't want to see it don't buy a ticket and it's that easy and let other people see it. That is well and good but think about it. What we saw growing up and what they are gonna see I know will be two different things. How are people gonna walk away from it and will it ruin the show itself!! I am torn on the subject but I guess I have a hard time about seeing something with characters I got to know and love now for 26 years just get replaced just to make something cool. That is where I am torn. Thanks!

I have to agree that the CMT awards were great. Yeah out of everyone John is still the hottest. I loved seeing his smile agian and the YEE-HAA! But it was great to see everyone together agian. Yeah and I agree about the new movie. I am in no way impressed the casting of it. It is like they picked whoever is "popular" among teens right now. And like I heard a qoute that if you can't take your kids to see it is not The Dukes of Hazzard. I saw a few pics from the new movie I am not at all impressed. I would not waste my money. I am investing it in the Season 3 DVD set instead!!

Hi I am new to this web site! I have been a Dukes of Hazzard Fan since I was three years old!! That dates me because that was almost 26 years ago. I am just looking for anyone to chat with and give me any interesting little snippets about the show or any appearances. I really wish I could go to Dukes Fest in June but I live in Michigan and I can't afford the cost to get down there. Does anyone know if any possible events in the Michigan area? I am a huge John Schnieder fan and I even have tons of pics hanging up on my wall at work. I call it my wall of happiness!! Believe me it helps get me through the day!!
