  1. HazzardNet is an excellent site with an excellent bunch of folks. Thanks so much to my new FB friend and HN member Roger Duke for urging me to sign up.
  2. This is new user Justin P. Coltrane calling all HazzardNet users. Y'all got your ears on out there?
  3. Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but are there any plans for a HazzardNet app for mobile (phone/tablet/etc.)?
  4. Long overdue for recognition is TimDuke, who joined HazzardNet in Oct 2001. TimDuke is also a longstanding member of the CGLFC. TimDuke is a man of few words, but of deep sincerity; if he has something to say, he says what he means. He is also passionate about the General Lee and is among the lucky few to own one. Fortunately, TimDuke brings his General Lee to Duke-related events so fans can enjoy seeing it. TimDuke's General was featured at a car show with Tom Wopat just a few months ago. TimDuke has participated in our Forums for years, and we look forward to him being a part of the fan co
  5. Howdy there - I'm considering a few changes to how we select our Fan of the Month, in order to be fair to the growing audience we have. I've yet to discuss this with Mufn or MaryAnne so nothing is written in stone. Originally, our Fan of the Month was selected based on Forums participation (constructive) and/or material contributions to content, consisting of photos, info, fanfic, what have ya. We sometimes take tenure into consideration, as we've had some members with us since darn near the beginning. The HazzardNet forums will be a part of HazzardNet for as long as the main website here st
  6. Long overdue for recognition is somebody who has been a part of HazzardNet since 2004. He's also a member of the CGLFC and has been an active voice among Dukes fans for many years. This longtime Dukes fan is a friend to many. He's also never afraid to speak his mind. Yet he always conducts himself with honor even if discussions and opinions get a little hot. I chose this photo in recognition of our Fan of the Month because it speaks to the same values that Capt Redneck has always shown. He's hard-working and self-sufficient. He can take care of himself, but he's always ready to help a friend
  7. Yes, the October 2011 Fan o' the Month is i1976!! i1976 is a reknown Enos and Daisy fan who joined HazzardNet back in February of 2007! With over 600 posts to our Forums, and with contributions of artwork to our Image Gallery and stories to our Fanfiction sections, i1976 is a creative Dukes of Hazzard fan who certainly deserves recognition! i1976 has always been friendly and encouraging to other members of HazzardNet and sets a great example for Dukes fans everywhere. Join us in congratulating her!
  8. Redneck girl 01 is our Fan of the Month for September 2011! Well-deserved and long overdue, we're happy to recognize her for her contributions to HazzardNet and to the Dukes of Hazzard fandom as a whole. Please join us in congratulating her!
  9. HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for August 2011 is CDoherty95! Congrats! There were several good contestants for this month. CDoherty95 was selected due to his perseverance in re-building another "General Lee" bicycle after his original creation was stolen. This shows great dedication to his love of "The Dukes of Hazzard" as well as strong personal character in not giving up. CDoherty95 is also an active participant in our Forums and has generated good discussions. We're pleased to recognize him as the Fan of the Month for his contributions to the Dukes of Hazzard fandom. SAL-UTE!
  10. It's that time of year where people indulge in horror flicks and pay good money to wander through haunted houses. And why not? There's something foreboding about the waning light of day, something repelling in the slow decay of leaf and lawn. The air itself seems thinner, emptier, absent of the summer hum of insects and the trill of birdsong. The warmth of day weakens; the chill of night deepens; and the trees stand silent and bare beneath a cold, pale moon. A bitter wind gives sway to the barren branches; they creak and lift towards the mute, shadowed sky...but they will not be spared
  11. Maybe the Christmas tree will be interactive like the fireworks the one year? It's A Wonderful Life... Hazzard Style, Snowball Fight... Hazzard Style & Hazzard Christmas Hoedown. Thank you to whoever made all the goodies!
