  1. Chet, The front car in that pic is the '99 concept Charger, not the actual production Charger which as I stated above is basically the Sedan version of the Magnum Stationwagon.
  2. that one is very funny. I am partial to the 1st season episodes because of the way it introduces the characters to us.
  3. Jerry Reid would be pretty good as the balladeer. And Divia is right I saw that show and they said that the balladeer had not been cast YET, and also that Willie will be singing the theme song.
  4. Hey guys, Just clear things up the new charger is not the 99 concept that appeared on the 1st page of this thread. The '06 Charger is actually a sedan version of the Dodge Magnum.
  5. I will be there myself in about a month(end of March). Plan on having a ball at Cooter's place while my wife is at the big craft fair in Gatlinburg.
  6. I was watching the Jimmy Buffet special on CMT a few minutes ago and they showed a commercial for the Dukes special and marathon that starts Friday. It was kinda funny.
  7. That is great. Thanks alot for this post. It is good to see a definate date.
  8. Coy and Vance came to Hazzard County in the 1st episode of Season 5 (The New Dukes).
  9. Coy was the blonde Bo lookalike and Vance was the Luke lookalike
  10. Bamamediamafia, I agree with Darrell. That type of language is not welcome here. Some of us are trying to raise our children with the same type of GREAT show that we grew up on and teach them about it with this forum. I personnally don't want to have to censor this sight from my son who is developing into a dukes fan already. So, if you can't offer your opinions without being offensive and foul mouthed about it then you should find somewhere else to voice them. This is a sight dedicated to fans of the Dukes of Hazzard, not people who want to come on here and trash it like yourself. Brian
  11. I agree, you can easily make your point without throwing in four letter words like you have been. Every one is entitled to thier opinion, and if you dont agree that is your right as well but there is no need to cuss the others on this board.
  12. You can catch Chris Mayor in the Jim Carrey movie Liar, Liar. He is briefly features in a scene at the courthouse.
  13. I am betting that the studio will not let any of these cars go, since there will likely be a sequel in the future.
  14. Yes, they did all appear in the episode that brought Bo and Luke back. If memory serves Bo ad Luke came into Hazzard in a yellow Mustang(sixty-something). At the end they give Coy and Vance the Mustang and they get the General back.
  15. She has my vote as Daisy, especially after those pics.
  16. Just wanted to let everyone know that the Extreme Lee that was mentioned in a post back in November is being featured on TLC's RIDES this week, airing at 10:00 pm on Tues 1/25 with repeats at 1:00 am on the 26th and 3:00 pm on the 30th. From what I understand they will feature the building of the car on the show.
  17. I am glad that you are going to give it a shot. From all the spy photos from filming and the different sets the flag will be on the car.
  18. We all welcome your opinions(at least the 1st couple of times you put it here), but you are not the only True Dukes fan as you seem to be implying in all of your posts. Everone here is a real dukes fan and some of us just want to see a new generation introduced to the excitement that is The Dukes of Hazzard that kept us all glued to the TV on Friday nights as a kid. We also appreciate the fact that you are big enough to admit that you were possibly out of line and apologize for it.
  19. A rock or pop band will not make it better. I think that they should leave it alone with the waylon version or another country star.
  20. According to the news section of www.cootersplace.com the Dukes will begin airing on CMT on Friday 2/25/2005 with a 1 hr special at 8:00 pm followed by a weekend long marathon.
  21. For anyone that is interested the 2006 Charger was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show Yesterday. It appears that it will Dodge's replacement for the Intrepid in Nextel Cup Racing. Go to autoshow.msn.com for pics of the new car. Type the address just as I did without www in front or you can find a link on the msn homepage.
  22. That Charger was a concept car from around 1999. The new charger will be out for 2006 and looks more like a 4-door sedan version of the Magnum wagon. However, as all of the photos and posts on this board show the General Lee is still the beautiful 1969 Dodge Charger.
