Cooter took a deep breath as he looked into Rosco's car. Rosco was wearing a pirate's uniform with a patch over his left eye. He looked funny to Cooter but then again, he looked funny too. Cooter was dressed in a Peter pan costume. It was a little tight for him.

Rosco had a very nice car. It must have been a powerful engine Boss had bought it after all. Cooter was determined to win this race. No one called Cooter a bad mechanic and got away with it. He was going to beat him. "You ain't gonna win Cooter," Rosco said as the drag race began. Boss Hogg was in a purple dress. He took off the light coloured scarf and waved it.

"This will be a clean race," Boss commented in a high pitched voice. The two men laughed.

"Your version of clean is...Why are you wearing a dress?" Cooter began to answer.

"You tell me." Cooter shrugged and continued with the race. The cars sped up and no one looked back. Cooter was in the lead until Rosco somehow caught up.

Cooter didn't know how Rosco did it after all he was the worst driver in Hazzard. "You are going down!" Rosco screamed as he knocked Cooter off the road.

Cooter opened his eyes and wiped his brow. He was still in the hospital bed and couldn't seem to get up. "Cooter relax it was a nightmare," Bo commented as he pushed the weary man down.

"No...I will get you Rosco!" Cooter screamed.

"I wish I could help you with this Cooter. I just know that you can't be alone right now." Cooter had been in the hospital for hours. The doctor said Cooter was passing kidney stones. A lot of people stayed with their friend. Most of the time Cooter would get scared and not remember where he was which would be terrifying.

"You're not going to win…you can't win."

"He won't, I will beat him for you, just get some rest Cooter."

"Bo is that you?"

"Yeah Cooter it is me."

"You do realize that you have broken your probation?"

"How did I do that?"

"You are in France…we both are."

"It's okay. You will be fine I promise."

"I don't want to be here anymore Bo…I want to go home."

"I know how you feel." Cooter looked at Bo and touched his freshly shaven face. He lay down once more and fell asleep.

Hilery

Little did Cooter know, they were still in the Hazzard TriCounty. The Hallucinations were from the pain he was in, and they were taking their toll. Bo wondered how things were back in town with the Garage. He was sure things were busy after all. Rosco and Cletus, as well as Enos kept things busy for them.

Speaking of which, Rosco was hot on the trail of ol' Luke right then. It would be a matter of minutes before they came to the pond, where Rosco would take his daily swim.

The young Duke grinned widely as he tore the road up, dust being kicked up from the tires and into hte shriffs windshield. "Jit jit, Luke Duke, you just pull it on over right now!" Rosco yelled over the CB. "You done gone speeding right past me back there!"

"Like heck Rosco. I was doing about 2 miles per hour under hte speed limit," Luke replied.

"Then I guess I'll just get you for impe... impee... slowing down traffic!" The sheriff retorted, kheeing and laughing.

Luke just shook his head. Too bad Bo wasn't with him doing the driving. He always seemed to have much more fun with Bo in the car when they were working as a team, but someone had to sit with their friend, the local mechanic. All of Cooter's family was currently busy either at the Hazzard Garage, or some other garage and weren't able to get down to Hazzard.

Lukas pushed the accelorator all the way down, heading toward the pond, then slammed on the breaks. Rosco did the same, but hit a mud slick, sending hte law man sliding into the murky water, leavng a cirtain dark haired Duke boy laughing. "You okay Rosco?"

"Oh I'm fine boy, now git over here and lemme give you that ticket!" Luke chuckled at him, then drove off, calling for a tow truck.

Back at the hospital...

Cooter ran from the garage panting. The flames seemed to follow him. There was a big explosion and he was flung into the air. Cooter looked back at the garage. He saw the face of Jason Steele in the background. "I'll get you Jason Steele! If it's the last thing I do!"

Cooter's eyes opened. He looked around in fear. Uncle Jesse sat beside him. Daisy walked in and tapped her Uncle on the shoulder. Cooter's arms flung over and grabbed Jesse's shirt. He was pulled towards him. "Jason!" Cooter shrieked.

"Cooter, it's Uncle Jesse! Relax, it's okay," Daisy tried to comfort him.

"He blew up my garage."

"Your garage is just fine, Hilery is working right now. She's made sure everything was going to be okay while you were gone."

Cooter let go of Jesse and settled down in the hospital bed. "Thanks sweetie," Uncle Jesse said as he got up from the chair.

"Uncle Jesse, he's not doing to well is he?" Daisy asked.

"He'll be alright. The doc said he had a high temperature but other than that he should be fine. Is Luke here yet? Bo needs to go home and sleep for a while. He's been here with Cooter almost all night."

"I don't know why he's not back here yet. He only went to go and get some things from Cooter's place." Just then, Luke walked into the room. "Luke." Daisy gave her cousin a big hug. She sat down where Uncle Jesse was sitting before.

"Where have you been?"

"Sorry Uncle Jesse, I had a little Rosco trouble. I'll take Bo home. You should see him, he's practically asleep. He even told me he wasn't leaving," Luke answered.

"Well, convince him. That boy hasn't slept."

"I'll do my best Uncle Jesse but you know how he is."

"Stubborn as a mule, I know. I am just like him. He ain't any good to us if he's a zombie. Try that one."

"Yes sir." Luke walked out to the waiting room and went to the chair his cousin had been sitting in. It was empty of course. Bo wasn't one who would stay still for very long. Luke circled the room and finally found his cousin talking to a nurse. She was a tall skinny red head.

"You can take my temperature any time," Bo said smoothly.

"I'll give it a thought," The nurse laughed. Luke grabbed Bo's arm and directed him to the elevator.

"Let me go! I was talking with that lady."

"Anymore talkin' and you would've been slapped," Luke replied.

"I am better than that." Luke rolled his eyes and took Bo outside to the General. Luke started up the engine and began to drive. After about ten minutes, Enos was already driving behind the Dukes. Luke shook his head.

"They just can't leave me alone today!"

"Alright now Duke boys, you need to pull over now. Rosco said you were impeeding and I needed to give you a ticket," Enos said over the CB. Bo picked up the reciever.

"I ain't trying to tell you how to do your job Enos but I need to go to bed and I am sure Luke will have to take a new route far away from a bed. So please, back off for all our sakes," Bo replied.

"I can't do that now. Why don't you boys pull over for me?"

Hilery

"Because I'm tired," Bo mumbled, then heard laughter over the CB.

"Enos, let 'em be, I'll pay the stupid ticket," Hilery laughed. She couldn't remember hearing Bo complain he was too tired for a good chase. Hil loved the man like crazy, so she was willing to pay his and his cousins ticket off, or just his cousins, especially if it was a favor for the cute blond boy. She was wiling to do dang near anything for him.

"That's might nice of you Hilery, but don't you have to worry about cooter's medical bills?" Enos asked. Again he heard a chuckle. "Nope, that's what his medical insurence is for, as well as the money he saves up incase emergencies. I'm only supposed to help out if he absolutely needs it. If i do otherwise, he'd be mad as antyhing at me."

Hilery Davenport (10:34:38 PM): "Hil, we couldn't let you pay out debts off," Bo mumbled. "We can handle it, I just wanna go to bed."

"That's why I said I would pay the bill off silly. So you could hurry up and get your behind to bed," and a georgious behind it is, Hilery thought to herself.

"Bo, gimme the CB," Luke told his cousin, taking it from him. "Hilery, you are not paying out traffic ticket, got it?"

"Fine, not my money if I don't," she replied.

"Not our money either," Luke told her, and expertly lost Enos this time in a ditch. "By the way, you have another tow job to do."

"Thanks Luke, you guys are the main folks who keep us in business. Dunno what we'd do without ya!" She said and climbed into the tow truck, and sped off to get Enos out. She still had to finish Rosco's patrol car, and now had to do his deputies, and the sheriff told her if htey weren't done by tomorrow morning, six am sharp, he was gonna slap her with a fine, and not pay the bill.

"Yeah, we're over on the Mill Pond road, by that drainage ditch that is usually pretty dry," Luke told her, then handed hte CB back to Bo.

"Well it's our pleasure Hilery," Bo spoke to her. She felt like floating in the clouds. Everytime she heard his voice, she felt that way. It would only be 'bout ten minutes before she could fish Enos out, well less than that. She could feel teh cool night air flowing into the tow truck from the open window, and she had her foot floored. Cooter rarely ever let her drive the tow truck, so she usually rode shot gun, but tonight, she was allowed to drive it out to all the jobs because her cousin was in the hospital. Sure, she was worried, but he threatened her before going in that if she got too worried, he'd give her a pay cut. She couldn't have that, now could she? Sides, Cooter wouldn't want her too upset. Naw, she'd keep an okay face in public, and then cry herself to sleep in worry when she got in bed.

Mildy, she wondered what her other friends were up to, like EssyJane Tisdale, or some of the others. She was so lost in thought, and her enjoyment that she nearly passed Enos. "Hey Enos, what's up?" she asked climbing out of the wrecker.

"Hi Hilery, not a whole lot, just waiting on you. Bo and Luke ran me off the road again, but I think that they just didn't want a ticket. They're still my friends."

"I know sugar, those boys run all you law men off the road," she told him, and placed the hook on the underside of hte wrecked patrol car to pull it out. "Any word on if Rosco is still steaming or not?" she asked him.

"No, why?" Enos asked.

"Because, he wasn't too happy earlier. The boys run him off the road, and he told me I had to have all repairs done on the patrol cars by six in the morning. It's already two."

"I am sure I can smooth things over," Enos mumbled. Hilery gave him a kiss on the cheek, Enos blushed.

"Thanks sugar, always knew you were a nice person."

At the Duke farm...

Bo tossed and turned in bed. "Sandman, I order you to work your magic," Bo said to himself. He turned onto his side. Bo shook his head and sat up. Luke sat up in bed also.

"Hey, why aren't you asleep?" Luke asked.

"Well, I don't know. I want to sleep, I have been hoping I could finally close my eyes but nothing's happening. I don't get it. I have been up long enough." Bo got out of bed.

"Where are you going?"

"I am going to get a drink." Bo walked out of the room into the kitchen. He looked out the window and saw something scurrying about. Bo went back into his room and gabbed a baseball bat.

"Now what?"

"Nothing I can't handle, go to sleep." Luke shrugged and rolled over. Bo walked outside and looked around. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "Okay prowler, get off my land!" Suddenly, Bo was grabbed from behind. He tried to struggle out of it but couldn't seem to.

"You're right Milo, this one is cute," A woman's voice said from behind him.

"Milo Boudary??" Milo walked over to the front of Bo and laughed.

"That would be me," Milo replied. "He's a little scrawny Millie, ya sure ya want him?"

"Yes I sure do," Millie replied.

Hilery

Now it was around four in the morning, and Hilery was tiredly driving over to the Duke farm. She had been working all night for crying out loud, and had finally finished on the patrol cars. She figured she'd clonk out on the Duke's couch, and just ask them how things are with Cooter when they woke up. Was bad enough she didn't wanna be alone that night, she had decided that before driving over. Sides, something just didn't feel right.

As she pulled into view of the Duke farm, she found out why. Two people she had never before seen were there, and they were holding her dear sweet Bo. She plowed into the farms drive way, hitting Milo's pickup truck, deliberately. Then she climbed out.

"Git your slimy, filthy hands offa him!"

"And who exactly are you?" Millie asked her, handing her catch to Milo. Hilery walked over, watching her crack her knuckles.

"I should be asking you that, ma'am, and my name's Hilery Davenport, now I said you two were to get ya filthy hands off of him." she replied, trying to be calm as possible.

"Millie, and why would I want to do that?" Millie replied. Hilery grinned ruefully.

"Because I said so. Now do it." The other woman shook her head.

"I'm warning you to get outta here. I mean it." Hilery reacted quicker than Millie could after shaking her head. She knocked the woman backward.

Millie retaliated with a blow to Hilery's stomach, and a blow to her mouth, and Hilery returned the blow to the stomach. The blonde Davenport then threw her to the ground. Millie though see hte baseball bat, and grabbed it. Quickly, she knocked Hilery out with it while she was sizing up Milo.

Luke ran out to see what all the comotion was all about. As he walked out, all he could see was a dirty whit pick-up driving away. "Oh no, the Boudaries!" Luke exclaimed. He made a ran for the General and tripped over something or should I say someone. Hilery opened her eyes wide the minute Luke landed on her.

"Get off!" Hilery exclaimed. Luke rolled off of his friend and looked at her.

"Are you okay?"

"I am fine!" Hilery went to stand up but fell down dizzy. "Either I fell down or the ground came up."

"You fell down. Hil, let me take you to the hospital. Them Boudaries have a strong punch."

"Yeah and their women are nuts."

"What do you mean?"

"She took Bo in her arms like he was her pup and tried to take off with him. I tried to stop them but as you can see, I wasn't sucessful." Luke picked Hilery up and carried her to the General. "I can drive myself."

"Hil, I would love to see you try." Luke put her in the front seat and went around the other side.

"What about Bo?"

"I can't do anything fer him right now, think about it. Boudaries have traps all around their swamp land. I know they ain't gonna be tickled pink to see me march into their land. I ain't gonna break my probation yet either." Luke started up the engine and began to drive. "Besides, you need medical attention."

"Forget about me."

"And have Cooter wamp me? Forget it Hilery."

About an hour later, Hilery was still waiting for the doctor to come over and check her x-ray out. Luke sat beside her. "I can't believe they got away from me," Hilery spat. She looked at the hospital gown she was in and rolled her eyes.

"Look honey, you couldn't have stopped them. Millie Boudarie is worse that a shark that smells blood. You couldn't have taken her. When she was here last time, she broke four ribs and still managed to break a man's legs. Thank goodness I wasn't there to see it but Daisy was. Poor gal had to wait until Rosco shot off his gun to get those two apart."

"Yeah well I am gonna kill her next time."

"Good luck." The doctor walked in and looked at Hilery.

"Well, how am I?"

"You have a concussion and some bruised ribs. Your breathing's off a little We want to keep you in the hospital for observation," The doc replied.

"For how long?"

"A couple of days."

"NO WAY!"

"Hil, do what the man tells ya okay?" Luke pleaded.

"Okay I guess I will. But what the heck are ya gonna do?"

"I have to bring in the big guns. Essy and Judd are gonna have to help me on this one. You ain't in any condition to fight this woman."

"Don't ya dare leave me out of the action."

"If we need you we'll holler."

"Okay." Luke shook his head and laughed. He walked out of the room. It was high time for a family meeting. Bo needed to be saved but what was the right approach?

"Uncle Jesse, Daisy?" Luke called softly, pushing the door open to Cooter's room. "I got some bad news," he told them after looking at Cooter to ensure he was asleep. "We best talk about this in the hallway," he added. Jesse and Daisy looked at him, unsurely but got up and followed to where they were just outside the door.

"What's going on Luke? What are you doing back here?"

"Yeah, and where's Bo?" Daisy asked.

"The Boudries got him. Millie was there, and she knocked Hilery out. She's awake now with a cuncussion though. She's not happy, and wants to lite into Millie like you'd not believe."

"Well, Hilery was always a restless one," Jesse said, then looked at his nephew. "We'll get him back Luke." He said then gave him a hug. Luke returned it.

"Yeah, Bo will be okay. He's a Duke," Daisy added.

"Yeah, well I'm going to call Essy and Judd, soon as I go back up to check on Hilery."

Little did Luke know, Hilery had dressed herself, and had defiantly slipped out of the hospital, driving off in Dixie. Thankfully there was no traffic. Hilery wasn't heading toward Tennessee, no, she was heading to her friends house. She had been thinking like Luke. She wasn't about to listen to his advice though and just stay put. She just had to talk to Essy. It was the man she loved htat had been kidnapped. The thought of loosing Bo to that grimy monstrosity made her stomach churn. She hadn't ever had the chance, nor the gumption to tell him how she felt about him yet.

Hilery arrived after several long moments, and threw Dixie into park, then walked up to the appartment above the post office, then knocked on the door, waiting patiently.

Essy was in her PJ's of course. A tight blue nightie that went to her knees with a pair of shorts on underneath. Her hair was in two braids. She could hear a second knock on the door. "Dang service men. Can't they take a hint, a little later in the night, that's all I ask," Essy mumbled to herself. She opened the door and there stood Hilery.

"Ess, Bo was kidnapped. The boys can't cross the line into Tennessee we have to rescue him!" Hilery said frantically.

"Woe, slow down, by the Boudries?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, I should get dressed and then we'll go Boudry huntin."

"We don't have time for that! I already grabbed some arrows and TNT for some good action. I also got knives and Cooter's huntin' riffle."

"Shouldn't I go upstairs and tell Judd?"

"Write him a note and leave it on the desk." Essy got out a pen and paper and jotted down something quick.

"Ain't Jesse comin' with us?"

"Less talk more walk." Hilery grabbed Essy by the hand and pulled her into dixie before she had the time to argue. Essy could feel Hilery swaying a bit.

"Why do you have Dixie?"

"Daisy let me borrow her so I could get through the terrain better." Hilery started up the jeep and began to drive.

Hilery

Essy also noted the driving was a little off, especially for Hilery. She seemed to be driving slower htan normal, as if she was compisating for something. "Hey, is everything okay?"

"Fine, never been better physically, emotionally, I'm a little strung out, but the man of my life has been kidnapped and my favorite cousin is in the hospital."

Speaking of the hospital, Luke had walked into Hilery's room and found her bed empty. "Just great," Luke mumbled to himself, then flagged down the doctor.

"I saw this woman leave out of Hilery's room. She had a scarf on her head. She kept telling me that she was Hilery's cousin and she had an appointment to get to. I shrugged it off. When I went to talk to the nurses, they said the room was empty," The doctor commented.

"Oh great, she went after them," Luke muttered.

"Went after who?"

"Never mind, I gotta go doc, she'll be back soon."

"Good because we could use the bed."

Hilery

Luke walked right back up to his family, with a concerned look on his face. "Bad news, she took off."

"You mean Hilery went after the Boudries???" Daisy asked, astonished. Girl had spunk, perhaps too much for her own good, Daisy thought.

"Hilery..." Cooter mumbled, coming back around again. "Little cousin," he said, and opened his eyes. "Where's Hilery at," he asked.

"She went to visit a friend," Jesse lied, hoping it would encourage his friend to go back to sleep, hoping he was still to disoriented for the conversation to completely register.

"C'mon kids, let's take this outside the room so Cooter can sleep," Uncle Jesse suggested.

As soon as they were out there, Daisy looked at her cousin. "So, how do you suppose we find her?"

"Well... I looked out hte window of her room, and I noticed Dixie was gone," Luke whispered.

"She took my jeep!? I thought she had a concussion," Daisy said. She wasn't happy that Hilery had taken Dixie.

"Now Daisy, sweetheart, I'm sure Hilery and Dixie will be fine. Why don't you two go looking for her, nad I"ll stay with Cooter."

"Yes sir Uncle Jesse," Luke and Daisy replied at the same time, and walked toward the elivators as Jesse went back into the hospital room.

They had to find Hilery. She was in no condition to be out of bed, let alone driving. They went straight out to hte General Lee, and climbed in. Daisy picked up the CB mic, and keyed it. "Breaker Breaker, this is Bo Peep. Has anyone seen CountryGirl or my Jeep, Dixie?" Daisy asked, and got static. As it was it was probably around five in the morning. The sun was starting to come up. Daisy changed the channel and tried again. Still nothing. As she and Luke left, she continued to look through the stations, trying to find someone. As it was, most people were just getting up, so no one was really on the Hazzard Net.

Essy looked at Hilery. "You said she let you borrow it," Essy snapped. Hilery laughed sheepishly. "Pull over right now!"

"No way, we're almost at the line."

"I said pull over!" Essy grabbed the wheel and pulled it towards her. Hilery breaked. Essy grabbed the reciever. "This is Messy Essy callin' Bo Peep, I got all the goods right here. We're about an hour away from the state line. Come on."

"Good, don't let Hilery drive. I know she wants in on the action but she's injured. Take her home, repeat take her home," Daisy commented.

"That's a big 10-4." Hilery got out of dixie and began to walk towards the state line. "What do you think you're doin' Hilery Davenport?"

"I am gettin' Bo back," Hilery answered.

"You're injured and you lied to me. You said you were alright!"

"I am alright, I didn't die. Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to save Bo."

"You ain't goin' to Tennessee!"

"You can't stop me." Essy put her hand on Hilery's ribs. Hilery pulled back. "Okay, maybe you can. Look, he's my friend and he would have done the same for me whether he was injured or not. Let me do the same for him." Essy's head lowered.

"Alright but you have to listen to everything I say, got it?"

"Oh yeah." Hilery smiled. "Thanks Ess."

"Get in the car before I change my mind."

Hilery

"Will do!" Hilery yelled and hopped into the drivers seat, only for essy to tell her to get into the passengers side.

"No, no, Hilery. With the way you are walking and the way you were swerving while driving, I'd have to say that I'm driving honey." Hilery looked at her, and nodded, listening.

"Essy, I'm sorry, I'm just so worreid about him. I love him, I've been in love with him since I was thirteen. He's handsome, resourceful, fun, sweet, caring. He's all I've ever wanted in a guy. The only thing I see wrong is the fact he has so many girlfriends," Hilery sighed. "And if something happens to him, I'll be so upset. I've never told him how I feel, and I'm afraid that when I am ready, it'll be too late. I don't think I'm anywhere near ready to say anything though."

"So just tell him. Or I could tell him. It don't matter."

"No, Essy, it wouldn't seem right." Hilery said, watching the landscape go by as they drove. "It would probably just make him angry at me for not telling him. He would feel like I've hid it from him for so long and never wanted him to know. I do want him to know, but...well... I'm not sure how to say so yet."

"Follow your heart," Essy suggested as they neared the line, and then crossed over into Tennessee. It was about then that Hilery began to blush.

"Uh, you know your way? I don't... i guess love makes you do stupid things."

Meanwhile...

Boss Hogg was wearing a purple dress as someone was sewing it. Rosco walked in and began to laugh. "It ain't funny knuckle head, this is for my wife's aniversary. A pretty purple dress just for her," Boss Hogg snarled.

"Boss, you look so pretty Khee," Rosco replied.

"Have you caught them Dukes yet?"

"No, I figured they'd be asleep with their little night caps and teddy bears. All snuggled up in them cozy little beds of theirs Jit Jit."

"No, them boys are always up to something! Go find them before I find your replacement!"

"Jit jit, I'm gone. Boss Hogg got poked with a needle. He hit the guy making the dress.

Rosco drove out on the long stretch of road. He saw the General Lee parked at the post office. Judd, Luke and Daisy came out and got back into the car. Rosco followed making sure he kept his lights off. Something he saw in the movies once.

"Do you suppose Essy got Hilery home?" Judd asked.

"I don't know," Luke replied.

"I have a feeling their headin' into some trouble."

"So do I Judd. I am glad you're here to help me with them Boudries. We need another boxing Duke in the ring."

"Well you can count on Killer Kane."

Hilery

They stopped off at the Garage, and then the Davenport farm, and they did'nt find Hilery at either. It worried them more than anything. "Well, looks like they went after the Boudries," Daisy said. "Luke, from what you told us, Hilery's in no condition to be fighting."

"Yeah, I know."

"Well, I guess it's off to the state line, to get my wife, and save my cousin," Judd said, and they took off.

Hilery and Essy though were moving through the dense hills of Tennessee in Dixie, until they reached the turn off for teh Boudry property. There they found Bo tied and bound, as well as gagged on teh front porch like an animal. Millie was sitting there in his lap, kissing him, and seemed to be talking to him. Milo was a short way off polishing his shot gun, and his brother was feeding the hogs. Daar pappy boudry was busy fixing a new bottle of shine.

"She better get off of him," Hilery muttered, her face turning red in anger and jealousy. She knew that Bo didn't want this, which made her even madder. "I wanna knock her block off!" she said, almost too loudly. Essy had to clap her hand over Hilery's mouth.

"Shh! you wanna get us killed!?" EssyJane hissed. It was too late. There was Milo and Millie.

"Oh, come looking for round two? and you brought a friend! How sweet," Millie said, pretending to be overjoyed.

"Keep you slimy hands off of Bo!"

"Hilery, watch yourself, she's nothing to play around with."

"Essy, hush. How do you think I got the dang cuncussion?" Essy looked at her. So that was the injury.

"Aww, poor baby! Milo, go guard my fiance'," Millie told him. He walked off like an obedient brother. Hilery just about seen red and launched herself at the woman, knocking her off her feet. She fed her punch after punch. It took Millie several long moments to realize what was going on. She threw Hil off of her, and into a tree.

"Keep your hands off of him, he's mine," Hilery said, stressing the last part in her sentence, then charged for Millie again.

"Like heck!" Millie replied. Essy watched as the brawl became worse. Blood was starting to seep from Millie's nose, and Hilery's mouth as the pumbled each other with their fists. For being injured, Hilery sure was putting up one heck of a fight. Bo watched from the porch, not too shocked. Hilery was one where if she was crossed, all heck broke loose. Though, he silently wondered what she meant by he was hers. He watched as Hilery knocked Millie into a tree, but Millie grabbed a branch and hit Hilery square across the stomach with it. The second swing though, HIlery grabbed it, and hit the other woman in the legs with it. She hit her so hard that they branch snapped in two. Then she pounced on her again. EssyJane seen the gun that Milo had put down though before going up to guard Bo, and she picked it up. Milo's father and brother had figured that Millie would have been able to handle the Davenport girl by herself, and had figured she had just been toying with her, until Hilery hit her with teh branch. It was clear that the Boudry girl had both her legs broken, and Essy could tell Hilery would have some internal injures from the blow she took to her abdomine. Unable to take the fighting anymore, seeing her friend getting hurt like she did, as soon as Essy got the gun into her grip, she fired it into the air.

However, she didn't see Pa Boudary come from behind. He pulled the gun away and smiled. "Looks like we're gonna have three of my kin gits married today 'bout time too," Pa Boudary said.

"You can't marry me, I am already married! Essy exclaimed.

"Oh shoot, you can have two husbands. Boys we's gonna need a couple of chairs, them girlies are gonna be stayin' a spell." Hilery rolled her eyes. Within minutes the two women were tied up beside Bo.

"Rule number one, do not come without calvary," Bo mumbled.

"What's rule number two?" Hilery asked.

"Don't be a loud mouth." Hilery shrunk in her chair. "Sorry Hil. I thought you learned something from huntin with me. Silence gets the moose. Loud people get to eat grass." Hilery couldn't believe she was getting lectured like she was a little girl.

Meanwhile, Luke, Daisy, and Judd were trapsing around just around the perimeter, watching. They weren't too happy, nor too pleased.

"So, when should we rescue them?" Judd asked.

"In a few minutes. Catch them unsurprised. Just keep quiet."

"Yeah, sides, Hilery could just sweat it out for a few more moments. She did take my jeep adn disobeyed doctors orders," Daisy said, then got a questioning look from Luke. "What, i'm only kidding," she said. "Someone has to lignten the mood.

Hilery looked at Millie walking quite well on her two busted legs. "I heard a snap! Hilery exclaimed.

"You's shoulda known that I's had my legs broken before," Millie laughed. "Now my man needs to be gussied up 'fore the weddin'. I want him lookin' real purdy." Millie began to twirl Bo's hair between his fingers. Bo became angry and tried to sturggle. No one touches his hair and gets away with it.

Essy pulled her legs up further and further to her head. Hilery's attention was suddenly directed on her. "What are you doin'?" Hilery asked.

"Getting my knife if Bo keeps that gal busy long enough," Essy whispered back.

"I'll help." Hilery looked at Millie. "No wonder you didn't get a man, you're too man like." Millie picked up the chair and looked Hilery in the eye.

"I am a lot of things but I ain't no man." Millie put Hilery down and stormed off.

Twenty minutes later, Judd decided moved in a little closer to get a better look. A rather large shadow stood above her. "Howdy, I's Millie and you's mine," Millie sighed.

"Not if I can help it!" Luke exclaimed. Daisy and Luke got up at the same time. They hit Millie down on the ground.

That was all it took. Essy was able to grab her knife, and quickly cut through her ropes. Then she did Hilery's and Bo's. "Let me at her!" Hil yelled as Milo pulled Luke and Judd off of Millie. His brother pulled Daisy and Bo away. The blonde Duke boy had treid to get away, and so he grabbed him too.

Millie smacked Essy, who had also lunged at her, across her face, giving her a bloodied lip. Hileyr retailiated for her and drove the heal of her hand into her chin. It awarded her a good blow to her stomach. Essy returned the favor and punched Millie in the face exceptionally hard. "WE need to knock her out!" Hilery said.

"Agreed!" Ess said. Togehter they hit her in the stomach, then in the back of hte head. They dazied her. She looked at them both, giving them a wierd smile.

"Hey, watch this!" Hielry said, and blew a breath of air out. Millie fell backward almost instantly andthe girls started bagging up. "I hope you know now not to mess with MY man," Hilery said, and kicked her still form wiht her boot. Bo had heard what she had said, and decided not to ask. It asn't any of his buisiness. HE figured he'd misheard her, twice in teh same day.

"Now Hilery, she's already out. YOu were raised better than that," Essy reminded her. Hilery nodded.

"Yeah I guess I am, but she had no right to-"

"Hil, drop it, relax." Luke called, and then with his brohters help, threw Miloi inot a fence post. Boht were beaten and bruised. Bo and Daisy quickly shoved his brother into a fence, where he got stuck because the gap had been so small.

As soon as the fight was over, they took off running toward the vehicles: The Geenral Lee and Dixie. Luke Drove the General, and Daisy drove her Dixie. Hileyr rode with Essy and Daisy. Bo rode with LUke and Judd. Unfortunately, as soon as they got toward the county line, Rosco was sitting there waiting. Uh oh.

Rosco rubbed his hands together vivaciously as he smiled. He turned on his sirens. Bo turned on some music, it just happened to be the beach boys. Luke tightened his grip on the wheel. He saw a dip in the road and jumped right over Rosco.

Bo and Luke laughed as Rosco continued to chase them. Essy smiled as she got two arrows out from the back of Dixie. "Hilery, I knew you brought these for a reason. Daisy, hold it still," Essy announced. Essy sat up tall on the side of dixie. She aimed the arrow and hit Rosco's tire. Thank goodness Rosco was too busy paying attention to the Dukes to notice that arrow fly. It caught him completely off gaurd. He swerved off to the side of the road and hit a tree. Bo and Luke kept on going. Daisy stopped to help him. She pulled the arrow out of his tire as they stopped.

"Are you okay Rosco?" Daisy asked.

"Boss was wearing a dress and he looks snazzy," Rosco said,

"Rosco, do you know who you are?" Hilery asked.

"Sure, I am Captian Hook," He wearily replied. Everyone laughed.

"C'mon Rosco, we'll get you to the hospital."

Later on that evening...

Cooter woke up and saw the whole Duke family sitting around him along with Hilery of course. Cooter looked at them and smiled. "What am I doing in a hospital bed?" Cooter asked.

"You were real sick for the past couple of days," Hilery replied. Cooter jumped up.

"My garage."

"Taken care of." Cooter sighed as he lie back down on the comfy bed.

"So did I miss much?" Everyone looked at each other. Some of the Dukes had bruises and cuts. Others had casts.

"Nah, you didn't miss too much," Bo laughed. Everyone had to grin. It was another day in Hazzard. Another one that was about to take a new Hazzardous turn.
