March 21, 201214 yr It has been a while since I have seen an episode, so please bear that in mind.I recall when the series began there were some lines in the opening by Uncle Jesse to the effect of "We don't hurt people, we only destroy property". I cannot find that clip on YouTube (have looked at about 12 different uploads).Is it my imagination about those lines, or am I just looking wrong?
March 25, 201214 yr You're not imagining things! In the episode, "Repo Men" Jesse espouses the Duke philosphy of striking back at property, not at people. This is when the boys are rigging up Cooter's tow truck with the claws so they can tear the countefitters car apart. Khee!

Like most of these questions, I can remember the quote, but not the episode.I've just checked the DVD and in the scene where they're welding the spikes it's actually Waylon that says the line, not Jesse, although that doesn't mean Jesse didn't say it at another time:The end of the line is, "which sometimes calls for a little country ingenuity".
March 26, 201214 yr Hang on guys is the quote not from Daisy's Song? I'm pretty sure Uncle Jesse says that to Bo,Luke and Daisy in the farmhouse kitchen before the scene with Bo and Luke tailing Daisy and Starr.

He says to Daisy, "I was just telling the boys you've got to make sure that everybody is out of that pressing plant before they blow it up.", followed by the lne below:
