Remind me and I'll give you some links to some wonderful pattern sites and data bases.I've been crocheting for over 15 years, and been learning to knit on and off for the past ten It just takes so long to knit something, which is probably why it's taking me so long to learn. I've got it down I think now, but I don't do much with it... my needles are so small size 6... but my crochet hooks range from D-K, and eventually I'm supposed to be getting a set of steel hooks from my mom.
