He walks back out to Tom who is pacing the waiting room. "Mr. Johnson have a seat. I've got news." The doctor says. Tom and the doctor sit on a bench and the doctor sighs. "The twins don't have epilepsy nor are they carriers for it. However...We've run a full DNA test three times. We're certain of the results. I'm sorry Mr. Johnson those boys aren't yours." "You're certain?" Tom asks. "Absolutely I'm really sorry I know you were looking forward to this." The doctor says handing Tom the results. Tom nods and as the doctor leaves he looks down at the papers. After a while of staring at them he gets up and goes to the NICU. Spotting Lizzy he shakes his head. "You were right you know." Tom says sadly. "I never wanted to be right." Lizzy answers looking up at him. "Wait what was I right about?" "They aren't mine. I guess I should have waited." "Tom I never wanted to be right about this. I know how happy Callie made you." "Happy or not their not my kids and she said there was no way they couldn't be mine which means..." Tom starts. "I know what it means Tom but...You've got to realize that she never meant to hurt you." Lizzy says. "I know she didn't but it hurts none the less and I can't raise those boys." Tom sighs. "Why not?" "It would mean disregarding the fact that Callie cheated on me." "I know Tom, but maybe you should talk this out with her." Lizzy says. "Maybe." Tom agrees. Coltrane was the father he was very prepared to raise those girls as his own as well.
