And my older brother pointed out that the guy that played the plant owner was actually the driver of the The Mean Green Machine. But, I don't if I am right but isn't the same vehicle used in the fourth season opener of Knight Rider as well.

I must have remembered him from the Mean Green Machine. After all I did see the episode this summer.
