March 5, 200620 yr So, I've been a Dukes fan since I was a kid (born 1975) and have always wanted to write fiction....I'm new to this site, but know my cars, etc... fairly well...Can I just start writing, and post ? March 6, 200620 yr Howdy Cooter 11-x, welcome to HNet!We have no real prerequisites here....if you have a story you want to share, by all means start posting! If you're looking for feedback but don't want folks to post in the same thread you're posting your story in, make sure you set up a seperate thread for remarks. Or however you wish, perhaps you'd rather have folks respond within the thread itself. Anyway, just keep in mind that you may get a lot of hits to the thread but not a lot of feedback. This does not necessarily mean that folks don' t like what you've written. It more than likely means that they're all just too lazy to respond. Which reminds me....folks, if you like something somebody's written, you'd be amazed how much a simple "Hey I like this!" type comment is worth to a writer. Don't be stingy. MaryAnne
