Howdy, Dover!

I don't think Daisy's first car had a name. And that's probably just as well, seein' as how it took a heartstopping swan dive off a cliff during one fateful episode.

It was one of the more memorable car-b-gone scenes in the entire run of the series, even including the wasteland of patrol cars that bit the dust.

The name of that car will remain one of the unknown mysteries of Hazzard County.

Unless somebody else knows the answer!

It was a Plymouth Roadrunner/Satellite/GTX (one or the other, I've seen some fans get into some pretty big disputes about this. This is like saying is it a Firebird, a Trans Am or a Forumla if you dig my meaning. Yeah, the three cars are different but they're also very similar)

Anyway! Two different model years were used. 1971 and 1974 (the car in One Armed Bandits is the '74. The car that goes off the cliff is a '71).

It's so funny how they use similar body styles in crash scenes. I'm also one of those people who take notice of these minor differences.

Not to get off topic, but wasn't there a '68 Charger used in one or two episodes? It's been a while, but I think I once saw a quick image of the round tail lights in one show.
