How many Lees were used?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know exactly how many Lees were actually used in the filming of the new Dukes movie? The number that I've heard is 25, but I've also heard that the grand total is closer to 30. Does anyone know for sure?

The good thing about the cars used in the movie though is that quite a few of them were wrecks from the t.v. show and were rebuilt just to be jumped and wrecked again. This means they didn't wreck a perfectly good Charger on every jump.

They had a total of 32 cars. When they started the film that had about 3 or 4 at each filming location. I know that they had 3 hero cars. Hero cars are the ones that look the best inside and out and are used for the main shots with the actors. They had many other stunt cars that were modified. Some of them even had a special pedal on the floorboard that the stunt driver could press. This locks up the back tires and the stunt driver can go into a slide easier. I had a chacne to watch many diffrent scenes and see the cars up close and it was awesome. They looked great and the trailer looks great.
