  1. Sorry if I seem daft, I assume there actually is a Hazzard County in USA?? If so, what is the Vibe on the Dukes there ? Is it like living in Hazzard for real ? (ish of course) Is it a typical Redneck stylee town ?? Any pictures?
  2. I am writing a book at the moment (well, have been writing it for the past 11 years) hoping to get it published before long. I want to get all the seasons of Dukes on DVD, region 1 or 2. But I'm saving money as I'm upgrading my Cortina Wheels from 13 inch, now getting rid of the 16 inch for some 18 inch and respraying it Metalic Purple. I would love to go to a Hazzard Meet but it's a bit far to drive. I just wish people were as mad about Dukes over here as you are over there. I've been trying to download the Happy Birthday General Lee episode just so I can see how they came about the General but I'm not having much luck.
  3. I am sorry if I upset you lot too. I have been on a few forums before from the states and got a cold response because I was British and they seemed to think I didn't have a clue about these type of things in the USA. I just thought I had come across another. Thank you though. I am a HUGE dukes fan and there aren't that many of us sadly. Sadly My website is very out of date. Since that Volvo I have had a 1999 Volvo S70 Saloon (Sedan) 2.5 Turbo. I now have a Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 Exceed (Japanese Import) 2.5 Turbo Deisel Intercooler. That is going next year so I can get a 4 door R34 Nissan Skyline GTST. Over here cars these days are very boring. I have had 30 cars in my 13 years of driving and I like the unusual and something that stands out. The average wagon here is what they call a Ford Mondeo or a Vaxhaull Vectra. Mid size cars average engine size is 1.8i litre or 2i litres. Small cars are everywhere, usually 1i litre 1.1i litre and 1.4i litre. Ford Mondeo (Ford Taunus equivelant) Vauxhall 'Yawn' Vectra 'Snore' ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz New Ford Fiesta Here is the race version.. If I won the Lottery, my garages would be full with 1969 Dodge Charger (General Lee) 1972 Mustang Mach 1 302 BOSS (original Gone in 60 seconds) 1978 Pontiac TransAm (Bandit) 1967 Pontiac GTO (XXX) 1962 ish Lincoln Continental 4 door (suicide doors) Bling Bling ! 1981 Lambourghini Countach Quatrovalvole 1980 Lamborghini Jalpa 1981 De Tomaso Pantera 1998 Overfinch Range Rover (Family Wagon) 1981 Aston Martin V8 Vantage 1996 Mitsibishi Lancer Evo 6 1999 R34 Modified Nissan Skyline GTR 1998 R33 Modified Nissan Skyline GTR 1998 Ducati 996 and of course my Cortina which I am about to spray Metalic Purple. Modern cars bore me ! I love 70's and 80's Muscle and performance cars with the odd exception. I used to like Soccer and supported Liverpool FC. These days it's all about money. I also used to love American Football being a big Denver Bronco's fan. Now (apart from my family) I just love Cars and Bikes, and the Dukes of course. I play Car games with my children on the Xbox, PS2 & PC too. This is my engine in My Cortina at the moment..
  4. I too have my car posted in my posts but by the welcome I received (just 1) I gather you don't want Brits joining in !?
  5. Check this out for an alternative version...
  6. It's my 1971 Mk3 Ford Cortina. Bought it as a 4 door, 2 litre car, now done loads of mods to it. currently a 3.5 litre Twin Ram air induction V8. Far too many modifications to list though. It's my baby. However, I Looooooooong for a '69 Charger for obvious reasons.
  7. Hi, I'm new here. I'm 30, married with 3 children and a MASSIVE Dukes Fan. Plus I'm over here in the UK. Would be nice to speak to you all, Dukes fans aren't as plentiful over here as you are over there. Look forward to speaking to you all.
