It's probably 2 years too late, but here's my version of the Boars Nest sign. I did it because I was thinking of getting it printed on a T-shirt. The artwork is all in outline, so it could easily be cut in vinyl, or scaled large for printing. You'll see I used it for my avatar. PM me if it's any use.
Did you do this one too?
If so, I just used it to order a 3'x6' vinyl banner from buildasign.com, they were running a special, $20 shipped for that size. I'm not sure how it will turn out, i forgot to make it vector based so it might end up pixelated. But I've never ordered something from them so we'll see.

'Yellow Pine Lumber Co.' doesn't sound too bad. I'm not sure though since we already have the Hazzard Sawmill.
I'm also considering making that whole corner "Chickasaw County" since there were so many run-ins with Sheriff Little. Plus that is a corner of the map we rarely go to since there isn't any good roads over there yet.

I'd really like to come up with something for the lower left and lower right sides of the map, we don't have much to reference those areas. The lower right corner is flat and mostly open, the lower left is steep and covered in timber. When our kids (currently age 3 and 7) get older we might make them a track for their quads in the lower right but for now they just ride in a big flat circle out in the meadow in front of the Boars Nest;
They love Dukes stuff, that is for sure. Our 3 year old, Hudson, loves to play with the General Lee I made in Forza on the Xbox 360;
Miles and Hudson love their Dukes of Hazzard slot track;
And of course you gotta have a home-made 01 hat;

Here's my current map of the property, all the red roads are just Jeep/Cat trails we've made;

Thanks! That was about my last "good" idea for something fairly easy to put up. Will have to ponder some new ideas for future additions.
-
Another addition, the "Hogg Mining Company" mineshaft;
-
Daisy starts a Bikini Car Wash fundraiser to save an orphanage and they wash cars from all over the county the entire episode
Boss is angry that the Dukes are making money and tries to sabotage the whole thing or creates a crooked similar business to put the Dukes out of business. Dukes catch Boss red handed being his crooked self and things go back to normal.

Very Nice!! That is so awesome!
Just be careful with that thing. It might have the heart to jump those ravines out there but I don't think it has the horsepower.
Thanks. Don't think I could jump this if I wanted, 25 MPH wide open and weighs 2000lbs lol

We picked up a Kubota RTV900 awhile back, since it was already orange I figured some General Lee decals would look right at home

Thanks Roger, we'll just keep it "Gun Range" then if there weren't any decent Dukes references to that type of thing.
-
Sweet! I was just wondering if you were still adding things.
I don't mean to be critical but be careful about those old refrigerators. If kids play hide and seek the results can be tragic.
Yeah I've heard of that happening, I might make a plate to screw to the side and door to keep the door from opening at all that way we can still use it for decor. Or just throw a paddle-lock latch on it.

Added a few more signs/locations this summer. Turned the old milk shed in to Cooters Garage and found a spot I named "Dead End Canyon"
Also added some non-Hazzard related spots;
"Hudson Lake" a little spring we named for our youngest son
"2 Spikes Point" named for a small elk massacre during elk season a few years ago
"Miles Point" named for my deceased Grandfathers old hunting stand
"The Shooting Range" - where we target practice, I don't think there were any Hazzard locations that would relate to a gun range were there?
I hope to get the mine shaft entrance put up this year but it's gotten so dry that fire season is effect early so I won't be doing a lot of off-trail work for awhile.

Nice work! My friend could only do one color on his cutter so I made mine plain. That is great though.

lol, thanks! No "01" on that hat, it's just a plain $3.00 blaze orange hunting cap. We have the kids wear them when we are in the woods so they stick out and are easy to spot when playing.
I was looking at Cooters Place online a while back hoping he had an iron-on 01 to stick on them but they only sell hat pins. I guess I could break out the magic marker, lol.

Hazzard Pond (can't really read the sign on the other side)

Thanks again Roger.
Here's what I got done while camping over the 4th;

Cool, thanks

Sorry but there's nothing with Ponderosa in the name.
Here's some other names that might help. Let me know if you're interested in what episodes they're from. It would only take a second to look it up.
In addition to these, do you want me to list all the names of the mountains, hills, ridges, canyons, meadows, valleys and holllows that DON'T have pine in the name?
I just love this project and I'm happy to be a part of it!!!
Pine Hollow
Cedar Valley
Pine Tree Crossing
Eagle Point
Crow's Ridge
Pine Ridge
Sweetwater Overpass
Wild Hollow
Hidden Pines
Eagle Rock Valley
Timbertop Acres (I like this one)
Eagle Pass
Spruce Hills
Pine Junction
Thanks! Yes, if you don't mind listing the others I would love to know them. Timbertop Acres is a good one, I'll have to see if that would be fitting in a spot. I like Pine Junction, that might be a good at a road intersection.

Here is the only pic of the shed I have right now (in the background);

Here's the viewpoint location. Not sure how well this will post since it's a wide picture;

Thanks Roger, I appreciate your willingness to help. It's nice to talk to someone else that loves the Dukes, my wife thinks I'm nuts and thinks I'm a little obsessed but luckily I have my 4 year old son to back me, he loves the Dukes as well.
Were there any with "Elk" or "Ponderosa" in the name? We have some key Elk hunting spots I'm going to name and also our property is covered with Ponderosa Pine. I might just settle for the more generic "pine" names, which I think I have enough of those to choose from already.
We have a spot that has a beautiful view of the area, any names that would reference an overlook, viewpoint, something like that?
There is a little old shed on the place, maybe a spot for Cooters Garage? Not sure, do you have any good ideas that would be fitting for a little dilapidated shed? Looks more like something Swamp Molly would live in but it's not in a swamp, lol.
Oh, we also have an out-house. Not sure if anything would be appropriate for that, the only one I remember in the show got blown up by the Duke boys and their dynomite arrows.
Thanks!!

I was afraid you were going to say that, it's a lot to ask if you don't already have it done though. I do think it would be very cool to have a comprehensive list but don't under-take it just on my request considering I'd probably end up only using a handful of the references.
Thanks,
Jordan

Hey Roger, do you have a list of all the Business's, roads, creeks, ponds, landmarks etc on the computer that you could post? I'm looking through this site writing down all that would be applicable to our property and keep with Duke references but I've only got a snippet of how many you said there were in another thread and was hoping I could find some that may work a little better and be relevant to our property. Some I'm going to use so far are "Rimfire Gulley", "Bear's Hollow", "Old Mill Road", "Ridgerunner Road" and "Hazzard Pond".
"Businesses - 161
Roads - 154
Water (creeks, lakes, swamps, ponds, etc) - 73
Landmarks (canyons, caves, mountains, bridges, hollows, etc) - 168"
Thanks

Cool. I'll take a picture of it when I get it, if it looks ok from 50' that's fine, if it sucks completely I'm only out $20. It is just for fun and I'm going to hang it on the opposite side of the bus, under the awning;
