When I was growing up in the UK, Heineken's slogan was "Refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach". Apparently they used this from 1973 to 2005. More recently they've been sponsoring international sports like football (soccer), rugby and F1. The F1 adverts have concentrated on the "When You Drive, Never Drink" message. The newest F1 adverts are for their alcohol-free Heineken 0.0 brand.
Sadly, it was announced earlier today that Heineken are cutting 6,000 jobs from their global workforce. People just aren't drinking as much lager as they used to.
