Mary Beth Carver wants Bo and Luke to join her NASCAR team as driver and chief mechanic, but her offer at the Boar's Nest is turned down because they'd promised not to leave Hazzard again. As they're looking at Mary Beth's car, the boys spot someone in her motor home. They give chase, but end up being caught by Rosco. Meanwhile, Mary Beth's father, syndicate boss J.J. Carver, tells Boss that he wants to speak to Bo and Luke. When they arrive, he offers them $50,000 and makes them promise to think it over. Later, the boys meet the guy from Mary Beth's motor home, and he tells them that he's a federal agent and needs them to infiltrate J.J. Carver's organization.
