Plot Summary

Rising country singer, Candy Dix, is playing at the Boar's Nest, and she just happens to be the girl that Luke courted while he was in the Marines. After she sings, Candy meets up with Luke in her motor home, but Luke doesn't like the way her manager, Eddie Lee, speaks to her, so he takes her off to the farm. Eddie Lee has large gambling debts, and finds that he has a $75,000 insurance policy on Candy, so he decides to kill her. He approaches Boss to have Luke arrested for kidnapping, and also agrees to sell Boss some of Candy's contract for $25,000. By the time Luke finds out that Candy's life's in danger, she's slipped out and gone back to Eddie Lee because he agreed to drop the charges against Luke.
