March 1, 200521 yr I was reading an article in TVGuide Canada about a month ago. It was all about favorite TV bars and the Boar's Nest made the top 10. Apparently, Waylon Jennings and friends hung out at a bar in Nashville and they nicknamed it the Boar's Nest, so that's how the Boar's Nest got its name in Hazzard County.
March 20, 200521 yr Thats interesting. The other day on the internet I came across someone who took a photo of their general lee replica in front of what used to be the Boars Nest on the show. The photo I think was taken last year or something and it was currently a church they said. Do you know if the Boar's Nest was ever an actual bar called the Boar's Nest or under another name?
