I was reading an article in TVGuide Canada about a month ago. It was all about favorite TV bars and the Boar's Nest made the top 10. Apparently, Waylon Jennings and friends hung out at a bar in Nashville and they nicknamed it the Boar's Nest, so that's how the Boar's Nest got its name in Hazzard County.

Thats interesting. The other day on the internet I came across someone who took a photo of their general lee replica in front of what used to be the Boars Nest on the show. The photo I think was taken last year or something and it was currently a church they said. Do you know if the Boar's Nest was ever an actual bar called the Boar's Nest or under another name?
