They were Cooter's cousins. Ben Jones had a dispute about his beard so they replaced Cooter for several episodes. One featured his cousin B.B. Davenport and two more L.B. Davenport. Don't ask me why they like initials or what they stand for. I just know the L is for Longstreet.
