If it was supposed to be geographic proximity, that's confusing, because in the same episode, Boss remarks that the nearest DMV office is in Chickasaw County. Hatchapee County is referenced in another Dukes ep, "Farewell Hazzard." Riverton, I can't recall hearing about before or after this ep.
