October 30, 200520 yr This is not official DukesFest information - but since it's being held at this venue, I took it upon myself to snoop for some info.Looks like the Motorplex is smack-dab in town. Gonna be a fun drive there.... here's a Yahoo map:http://www.musiccitymotorplex.com/directions.htmlAnd on the Motorplex website, I found two nearby hotels they recommend. I wouldn't book a room yet, though - DukesFest will probably carve out some good deals, and I know Cootersplace.com will list official lodging in the near future. But if you want a starting point:http://www.musiccitymotorplex.com/2005/hotels.htmWe'll share the official information as it becomes available. Brian

March 15, 200719 yr I had pretty good luck price shopping and found hotels.com and expedia least expensive. the room was 4 pennies more but the tax was cheaper then orbitz! go figure. i'll just get the tickets over the phone with cooters museum i just really dont see the photo as something i want. kinda choosy that way. it came out at 30 dollars cheaper for me then the packages at musiccitytours.
March 15, 200719 yr The music city tour package is nice for those who want to be in walking distance of Cooter's Place, the shuttle bus depot that goes to & from the fairgrounds. One of those hotels also has a shuttle to & from the airport, the Grand Ole Opry. Taxis are pretty expensive there $22 one way to certain areas. It's nice to have so many options! Thanks for sharing Tori, where you got a good deal at and congrats =)
