  1. I've always love Smokey and the Bandit, but my other favorite racing movies are Days of Thunder, followed by Gone in 60 Seconds (with the exception of the flying Mustang!), The Transporter, and finally Ronin.

yeah ronin! how could i forget?! a great stunt-car-movie! and jean reno kicks ass!

  3. you are correct lost sheep - that was the biggest SUCCESFUL jump the general made (that is what i have been told on numerous occasions so i assume it is true)

the longest jump was not shown in any episodes because the stuntman accidentally injured an actor so was never used, but can be seen in 2 fast 2 furious

i have been informed that it was when uncle jesse was driving and a bridge over a river was opening and he floored it and the general flew over the bridge and the sail boat and landed on the other side

unfortunatly, i have been told that part of the ramp broke off and knocked the actor on the boat unconsious

could someone tell me if this is true or not - i have only heard this from a friend's cousin who worked with the stunt co-ordinator on 2F2F (the guy who did the stunts for DOH)

the longest "unsuccsesful" jump of the gen lee can be seen in 2 fast 2 furious? where? :o

  5. last week, just the night before i finished working on my car and making it ready for the road again, i was watching American Graffiti wich i haven´t seen in a while just to get me in the right mood for cruisin around town the night after. and i guess i have to go for that movie. for me just the best car movie ever. falfas ´55 is awsome! funny fact, if you watch the synchronised german version, there are 3 parts of the movie wich are simply not synchronised and people speakin´ english... anyhow, i rather watch the original version - the engines sound better

    greets, chrysler
