The original color was a combination of different oranges the paint department had at Warner studios. The closest you can come to that color it to look at a shipping company called TNT Express. The color is nearly identical to the orginal General Lee used in the TV show. Not Corvette Red. I've had opportunities to speak with one person who watched the car recieve its paint.
