Welcome to HazzardNet's the Dukes of Hazzard Wiki

The Dukes of Hazzard premiered as a midseason replacement on January 26, 1979, and concluded its run in February of 1985. As well as seven seasons of the TV show, it has spawned two original cast TV movies, a big-screen movie, a follow-up TV movie, an animated series, and countless pieces of merchandise.

HazzardNet.com has been celebrating all things related to the show since 1999.

Some of these are in the process of being created, so pardon our dust.

Where It All Began

Before the Dukes of Hazzard there was Moonrunners. Also created by Gy Waldron, it tells of the moonshining exploits of the Hagg family. It includes some familiar names like Sheriff Roscoe Coltrane, Cooter and the Boar's Nest, all narrated by Waylon Jennings as the Balladeer.

Big Screen Dukes

In 2005, The Dukes of Hazzard made the leap from the small screen to a big screen movie. Two years later, there was a follow-up TV movie, The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.
