Plot Summary
When it looks like the bank has been robbed, Boss is arrested as the prime suspect. With the bail set at $10,000, Boss persuades Jesse to put up his farm as collateral to honor a ridge runner debt from 1938. What Jesse doesn't know is that Boss plans to skip bail so that he get his hands on the farm.

- All three of the guest performers have been on the show before, and all are reprising their earlier roles. Charlie Dell (Emery Potter) was in People's Choice and Coltrane vs. Duke, Barney Phillips (Judge Buford Potts) was also in Coltrane vs. Duke, and Lila Kent (Laverne) was in the previous episode, Cletus Falls in Love.
Bloopers
- The door mirror on Boss' car is present when he's being chased, but missing when Rosco and the Dukes stop him.
- When Boss gets in the catering van to go to his hideout, it's obvious that the building on the right is just a façade.
