Plot Summary
With a little help from Boss, a pair of record pirates are recording Mickey Gilley's benefit concert in Hazzard. When they realize that they've been spotted by federal agents, they make a run for it and force Bo and Luke to drive them away at gunpoint. Of course, the agents then assume that the Duke Boys are involved.
Commentary
Trivia

- As well as performing the benefit concert, Mickey Gilley also gets caught in the Celebrity Speed Trap. In a break from the norm, his second show takes place outside the bank.
- L.Q. Jones (Morton) previously appeared as Warren in Witness for the Persecution.
- Burton Gilliam (Heep) also makes a return visit. He was Tom Colt in Double Sting.
- Hari Rhodes (Ben Jordan) played Mike Makula in the 60s TV show Daktari.
- Boss has a copy of C. M. Coolidge's Pinched with Four Aces from the Dogs Playing Poker series on his office wall.
Bloopers

- Just after the record pirates jump into the General, it passes an empty Hazzard Square, which should be full of people watching Mickey Gilley. Even the signs for the concert are missing.
- An old establishing shot of the police station is used that shows the neon on the sign which was removed over a season ago.
- While Boss is blocking Ben Jordan's view of the pirates' van in the impound yard, the front is intact, but just before it breaks through the gates, there's obvious damage including a missing light. The front miraculously repairs itself by the time Rosco gets it to the old saw mill.
- At the final concert, Cletus is carrying a tray of popcorn marked at $2, but he appears to call out "Hogg popcorn, $3 a box." The closed captions also say $3.
