Plot Summary

Boss and Rosco in disguise

Boss treats Lulu to a shopping trip to New Orleans as a 25th wedding anniversary gift, and Lulu asks Daisy to go with her. When they get back, one of Lulu's cases goes missing, and she mistakenly claims one containing a $250,000 necklace which has just been stolen. Back in Hazzard, Boss finds the necklace, and promises to return it to its real owner, but actually sells it to his cousin, Big Dan Hogg of Rapaho. Bo and Luke foil an attempt to kidnap Lulu and Daisy, and make Boss get the necklace back so they can make a deal. They manage to help arrest two of the bad guys, but Luke suggests that Boss and Rosco need to act as decoys to catch the bad guys' boss.

Trivia

• Bruce Glover (Wilbur) played Mr. Wint, one of two assassins working for Blofeld, in the 1971 James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever. He is the father of Crispin Glover, who played George McFly in Back to the Future.
• Charles Napier (Pete) previously appeared as Digger in Bye, Bye Boss.
• After only a few episodes, J. D. Hogg's Furniture Mart is replaced by the Hazzard Square Emporium.
