Plot Summary

While Boss is implementing on-the-spot fines, Roseville deputy Linda May Barnes ("She's got more curves than old Mount Paron Road") appears on a top secret assignment to guard Public Enemy Number Two Rafe Logan when he arrives in Hazzard. Boss quickly promotes her to sheriff, but Luke is suspicious, and starts to check up on her.

Trivia

• Jesse says that Bib Tucker owes them for a load of corn. Bib Tucker was one of the men that Boss hired to guard his bank in The Great Bank Robbery. He was also a fire fighter.
• This is Tracy Scoggins' (Linda May Barnes) first credited acting role. She went on to star in The Colbys and Babylon 5.
• The last phony female deputy in Hazzard was Mary Beth Malone in Deputy Dukes. That storyline also revolved around a prisoner being brought to Hazzard, but Rocky Marlowe was "public enemy 1 through 10", while Rafe Logan is only public enemy #2.

Bloopers

• Rosco's patrol car suffers heavy front end damage when he rolls it over, but only the lightbar and roof are damaged when he returns to Hazzard.
• The scene where Rosco tries to arrest Bo and Luke outside the garage while Cletus holds his rear fender was obviously filmed at night, even though it's supposed to be daytime. The same is true of the scene where Lulu is abducted.
• Cletus' uniform seems to be a perfect fit for Denny even though they are quite different in size.
• When Bo and Luke are being shot at, their windshield goes from having two bullet marks to completely shattered for no reason.
• The uniform patch and closed captions spell "Marshal" correctly, but it's spelled as "Marshall" on the car door and in the end credits.

  Bo: "No, I'm going 54 right on the nose. Cross my heart and hope to give up women."

• To Rosco and Cletus:
  Boss: "I've had it up to here with you two clucks."
