Plot Summary

Romance is in the air when Rosco's lady friend, Sue Ann, comes to town, and he doesn't take much convincing to agree to marriage. His mama thinks that at 48, he's still too young to get married. Boss is also against the idea, until he comes up with a plan to have his bank robbed while everyone is at the wedding, claim the insurance money, and blame the Dukes, who aren't invited. What Boss doesn't know is that Sue Ann is part of a scam, and that her two accomplices, who ran the General off the road, also plan to rob the bank during the wedding.
Commentary
Trivia
- Rosco's middle name is Pervis.
- Rosco meets Sue Ann through the Dixie Computer Dating and Marriage Service.
Bloopers
- The sign on Rosco's office door spells his name "Roscoe" when he first meets Sue Ann, but it's spelled "Rosco" when Mama Coltrane visits.
- Collins and McGraw spend the first half of the episode driving a black 1969 Ford, but the one that they roll down the hill appears to be a 1967 Ford with stacked headlights.
- Cooter fixes the bodywork on the General in record time, and the car looks perfect when Bo and Luke return to the farm to tell Uncle Jesse what's going on, but in the next scene when they go to town and speak to Cletus, there's heavy damage visible, especially on the front fender. There's even more damage to the front end when Collins and McGraw sabotage the brakes while Bo and Luke are in Rosco's office, but it's back to the original heavy damage when they come out.
- The advert for the Dixie Computer Dating and Marriage Service has no address or box number to write to.
Quotes
- When Rosco is trying to explain how he met Sue Ann:
Mama Coltrane: "You mean you got a girl out of a machine?"
- When Boss sees Rosco's wedding outfit:
Boss: "Next time I catch you dressed all in white you'd better be wearing wings and strumming a harp!"
