Commentary
Trivia
- Luke speaks to yet another journalist who's nicknamed "Scoop". This time it's the unseen Scoop Whitman.
Bloopers
- When Bo and Luke pull up outside the Post Office to speak to Sue-Ann Blake, it's broad daylight, but when they get inside, it appears to be dark outside. Later, the shot where Billy Joe Fong rides away from the garage wearing Miz Tisdale's crash helmet also seems to have been filmed at night.
- The sprinklers on the water truck start just before Cletus hits it.
Quotes
- While arguing after the chase:
Rosco: "Cletus, will you just hush, you dipstick? Boss, it's all his fault, anyway."
Cletus: "Dipstick? I'll have you know dipsticks are rich, 'cause they're in oil."
