Plot Summary
A hit man, who Enos testified against in California, escapes from jail and comes to Hazzard to kill him. Scanlon is a master of disguise, although he gets caught after his first attempt on Enos' life. Boss finds that there's a reward for his capture, but Scanlon escapes again after stealing Enos' keys. Enos was already on his last chance, so Boss fires him. As Enos is about to leave for the Duke Farm, he spots a bomb in his car, and only just escapes the explosion. Luke then comes up with a trap for Scanlon which involves Enos being interviewed on the radio. Scanlon spots the trap and kidnaps Daisy instead.

- Don Gordon (Scanlon) played Delgetti alongside Steve McQueen in the 1968 movie Bullitt.
- Scanlon steals a pickup truck belonging to Bib Tarkey, who was one of the racers in Boss Behind Bars.
- Ritchie Montgomery also appeared as Elton in Strange Visitor to Hazzard.
