Commentary

Trivia

  • Robert Hastings (Slick) previously appeared as Barnes in Witness for the Persecution and returned as Taylor in Sky Bandits Over Hazzard.
  • This is also the second of three Dukes appearances for Charlie Dell. His were all as Emery Potter, with the first in People's Choice and the third in Dukescam Scam.
  • Barney Phillips (Judge Buford Potts) had a regular part as Maj. Donald 'Doc' Kaiser on the 1960s series 12 O'Clock High. One of his episodes in 1965, Faith, Hope and Sergeant Aronson, also featured Sorrell Booke. Barney Phillips reprised his role of Judge Buford Potts in Dukescam Scam.
  • Parley Baer makes his first of seven appearances as Doc Appleby.
  • While he's supposed to be injured, Rosco gets Boss to read to him from Jack and the Beanstalk.
  • The house where Doc Appleby is delivering triplets is actually Boss' house with the shutters removed.

Bloopers

  • Although they could be different places, it looks like the closed captions misspell Lake Chicamahonny (from People's Choice) as Lake Chicamahawny.
  • When the Dukes pass Rosco rolling down the road on his bed, the ambulance is turning round, but when they turn the General, the ambulance is still parked where Rosco fell out.
  • The mound of dirt which jogged the ambulance doors open should've stopped Rosco's bed.

Quotes

  • Describing setting up a roadblock:
Cletus: "[It's] about as easy as pouring water out of a boot with instructions written on the bottom."
