Byron Cherry
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 17, 1955, Byron graduated North Side High School and won a scholarship to East Tennessee State University where he played football. While at college, Byron decided to try his hand at acting, and enrolled in film school at Georgia State University, Atlanta.
Byron's big break came when he landed the lead in The Dukes of Hazzard while Tom Wopat and John Schneider were protesting about their royalty payments. This led to other roles in shows such as Murder She Wrote and In The Heat Of The Night.
Byron now lives in California.
