Plot Summary
It's the General Lee's birthday and the Dukes and Cooter reminisce about how the General Lee came to be.

Trivia

- It's revealed in this episode that the General Lee is orange because that's the only color paint that Cooter had in stock.
- This is the last of three appearances by Sam Melville (Rick). He was previously Snake in Jude Emery and Dunkirk in The Great Hazzard Hijack.
- Troy Melton (Sheriff Snead) also appeared as the driver in Gold Fever.
