Plot Summary

Sorrell Booke as Abraham Lincoln Hogg

Boss' great aunt, Emma Lou Hogg, has passed away, which prompts Boss' twin brother, Abraham Lincoln Hogg, to turn up in Hazzard. Abe is the exact opposite of Boss: he wears a black suit, drives a black car, and likes to give his money away. His arrival causes a problem for Boss, because he's already had his brother declared legally dead so that he could sell the land which he expects to get in his great aunt's will.

Boss gets Rosco to frame Abe for a crime in Finchburg, which is over the state line, and then sends Abe there with a story about a pension fund needing money. Abe is arrested, and thrown in jail. Meanwhile, Boss has enlisted the help of well-known forger, Benny the Quill, and arranged for Judge Druten to come early for the reading of the will.

Luke then has to violate his probation to cross the state line and rescue Abe. Back in Hazzard, the judge has arrived, and Boss is trying to be himself and his twin brother.
