Miz Tisdale leaves town to visit her mother, so the Dukes take over her duties, which include running the post office and driving Hazzard's only taxicab. Bo and Luke's first fare turns out to be a pair of thieves whose car has broken down. When Rosco pulls them over, the thieves hide their stolen gold certificate in the back seat, unaware that Bo and Luke are planning to renovate the taxicab and replace the seat. Cooter then finds the envelope with the certificate, but it gets mixed up with his outgoing mail and he puts it in the mailbox. By the time the thieves find out what's happened, Daisy's already on her way to Colonial City with the mail pouch.

Plot Summary

Miz Tisdale leaves town to visit her mother, so the Dukes take over her duties, which include running the post office and driving Hazzard's only taxicab.
