Cooter's Garage, or more correctly the Hazzard Garage, was owned and run by Cooter Davenport. Outside the garage there were a pair of gas pumps, while the inside housed everything needed to fix any vehicle in Hazzard. Many of the garage props were added by Ben Jones himself.
The building used as the garage was located just off of the square, and backed onto the studio sound stages. It made previous on-screen appearances in movies such as The Music Man and The Shootist. After the series finished, the garage building, along with the neighboring Rhuebottom's, was replaced with residential façades. The new building fronts appear briefly in the Hazzard in Hollywood TV movie.
