While driving through Hazzard, Cooter's friend, Jonas Jones, has his truckload of auto parts hijacked. Due to a previous conviction for armed robbery, Jonas thinks he'll become a suspect if he reports the theft, so Cooter helps him to leave town and then confesses to committing the crime himself. When the Dukes find out, they set about catching the real hijackers to clear Cooter and Jonas.

Plot Summary

While driving through Hazzard, Cooter's friend, Jonas Jones, has his truckload of auto parts hijacked. Due to a previous conviction for armed robbery, Jonas thinks he'll become a suspect if he reports the theft, so Cooter helps him to leave town and then confesses to committing the crime himself. When the Dukes find out, they set about catching the real hijackers to clear Cooter and Jonas.
