Coy and Vance let Bo and Luke know that Uncle Elbert is sick and they need to go off and help Aunt Bessie, so Bo and Luke return to Hazzard. Meanwhile, Cooter is working two jobs to try and make a balloon mortgage payment to Boss, and he's starting make mistakes due to the stress. Boss really wants Cooter to sell his garage so that he can knock it down and build a shopping center. Things get worse for Cooter when the engine of a race car he's worked on explodes, and the driver's daughter blames Cooter.

Plot Summary

"The winners are...Bo and Luke Duke"
