	Regrouping at the Duke Farm, Lucinda says that her late husband told her to ask the Dukes for "the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" if times got rough. Jesse thinks that must mean the Rainbow Mine, an old hideout from the revenuers, some of which is on Duke land. After shaking off Cletus and Wilbur, Bo and Luke go down the mine and find nine barrels of 'shine. Unfortunately, the sample they take back to Uncle Jesse tastes like vinegar, and Lucinda admits that she always knew her husband's 'shine was second-rate, but never let him know that she knew. 			While the Dukes are out for a drive, Bo helps to stop a car for a lady whose brakes have gone. When they get out, Jesse recognizes the driver as Lucinda Meadows, the first lady he ever courted. He tells the boys that Boss also courted Lucinda before she married Cyrus. Back at Cooter's, Lucinda reveals that she has a 40-year-old IOU from Boss for $5,000. Boss is pleased to see Lucinda, but claims that the statute of limitations had run out on the debt, so he isn't going to pay.

			* Jack Garner (Blaine) was the older brother of actor James Garner, which may explain how he ended up playing many small roles in ''The Rockford Files'' and got a recurring part as Jack the Bartender in ''Bret Maverick''.
			* Jan Clayton (Lucinda Meadows) is probably best known for playing Ellen Miller in over 100 episodes of ''Lassie'' during the 1950s, although her acting credits stretch back to 1938 (when she appeared as Jane Clayton). Sadly, Jan died at the age of 66, just two years after this episode aired.
