Time will tell but you might be right. This latest variant doesn't sound any worse than a common cold but that doesn't mean the next one won't be bad.

Raining today but my Ninja got ridden 3 days in a row before this. I'm still getting used to it but felt pretty comfortable yesterday. The biggest thing I don't like is that I don't feel like a redneck on it. Oh well, after the novelty wears off I'll trade it for a dirt bike.

I'm tired of Covid.  This might sound crazy but back in November my wife and I took one of our cats to the Vet.  We talked about Covid and the Vet said virus' usually last about 3 winters and as they mutate into various variants they do get weaker.  He's a great Vet and has always been right when diagnosing the cats.  He does a lot of research.  I'm hoping he's right about Covid.

You need a pickup truck to be a true redneck. lol

Here's your pic Roger

Got my winter hair trimmed off Saturday, back to my spring, summer and fall buzzcut. My hair grew out to about shoulder length over the winter so my head feels a few lbs lighter now lol. Caught some interesting things on the dashcam Saturday. Anymore it seems the worse the weather is, the worse some people drive.

Back when I was on FB I did see a sport bike that was painted like a General Lee.

The Dukes movie is on Dish Network right now on BBCA.

Last night I seen on fb someone shared a Crown Vic painted half General Lee and half Hazzard County Sheriff . It's amazing how many different cars all over the world are painted like the General Lee, from Fiat 500's to Ford Escort's to Lada's, heck even Ural motorcycles etc.. I don't think there is any other TV series or even movie car that gets so much love and reproduced on so many vehicular things.

The General Lee is still the most recognizable car in history....but a half General-half Hazzard Sheriff's car is really strange. Which half was the General? Was it split down the middle, or front/back....or was it all orange with the Sheriff's decals and lights, or none of the above? You are right.....the short time I was on FB I saw everything imaginable as a tribute to the greatest most famous car in history.

I've been watching You Tube videos of Superbikes lately. My Ninja wouldn't be able to keep up with them but it looks like them. Now, where did I put that orange paint?

Edit...maybe Hoss could see my Ninja that Spike put up a few days ago and turn it into a GLee.

Driver's/left side was General Lee, right side was Sheriff's. Had the 01 and General Lee above the door and sheriff's decal on the right side. No flag on the roof though.

I couldn't use Spike's image because it's hard to recolor black panels, so here's a quick effort based on another image I found. There aren't many places for the graphics. You'll have to imagine the flag on the gas tank, because you can't see it from this angle. ;)

I'm not surprised the flag isn't on the roof.

With the way they painted the car half & half I think half a flag would look weird.

Youngstown Ohio is still getting frost.

Yeah it's going to be a cold weekend here in NW Ohio too. I guess next week on the 31st or April 1st the weather pattern is going to switch to spring.

I like the cross flags.  It's a nice throwback to One Armed Bandits.

Wow Hoss, that's beautiful. I haven't fallen this deeply in love since the evening I met my wife. Thanks so much for doing this. You amaze me with your talent. I remember the time you put Charlie Daniels beside Uncle Jesse at the farmhouse. I bet Jesse would love to see Emma riding wheelies on this delivering mail. Thanks again.

My wife just went through your neck of the woods today. They went to a wedding shower in Detroit. Went with her sister but first picked up her neice in Akron.....no, they weren't all on the Ninja. I'm a bachelor for 2 days.

Just got back from Virginia visiting our daughter and grandsons. She surprised me with an early birthday present....Jon Holland's book Moonrunner's Tale....from grit to gold: How the Dukes was born.

I always loved the Georgia episodes and now I will get to learn a lot about how things unfolded before the show even began. This is going to be fun.

Cousin Roger Duke... He also has another. The Roads Back To Early Hazzard dedicated to the GA 5.
