Jesse clears the room by yelling "Listen up everyone." In the corner there were still 3 people not complying. Jesse yelled even louder. "And you too you Beaudrys!" Pa, Milo and Sledge quieted down.
"I just want to thank the best postmistress this here county has ever had". Rosco interrupted "She's the only one we ever had. They were all men before her. Khee, Khee!" Jesse looked at him with killer eyes and scared Rosco enough for him to recoil back in his seat nervously.
Jesse continued "Even after seeing her dirt bike get burned to a crisp she still kept her cool and never got angry with me. And for that she deserves a big kiss" He leaned over and gave her a big sloppy kiss on her lips. At first the crowd was stunned into silence but then went wild.
After the kiss Emma smiled from ear to ear and declared "Hobie might have won the race but I'm the real winner today. I know I always ask folks to take a number in the post office but today I'm number one!"

Garrett turns around as Skipper approaches him and hears him out. He sets his half drank down and gives Skipper a high five. "No need to apologize, Skipper. It was just a race and you were just eager to win the race as everyone was. My car can and will be fixed in no time," he pauses to put down his empty glass from Cooter, "but I'll be glad to take you up on that drink and drink to a fun race."

Garrett Duke was working on his vehicle outside of his apartment when his thoughts and concentration was abruptly shattered by a door slamming shut. Taking a deep breath, he slowly stands up and turns around to stand face to face to Jesse Duke.
"What you think you're doing, boy?" Jesse says, his voice thick with disappointment and concern.
Garrett looks away in attempt to hide his anger before looking back at his uncle. "I'm working on my wrecked car," he dryly states, putting emphasis on wrecked.
"Not no more you ain't," Jesse states in a matter of fact tone, "get in the truck."
Garrett goes to protest only to be cut off by angry blue eyes of his uncle. Shaking his head in defeat, he throws down the oil stained towel he was clenching onto onto the roof of his car before looking angrily up at Jesse before turning around and climbing into the cab of the old white Ford truck.
They drive a long awkward five minutes in silence before Jesse interrupts the piercing silence by saying, "Everyone is at the Boars Nest celebrating what was suppose to be a fun race," he pauses, his voice drips of disappointment, "and you run off to pout because you didn't cross the line first." Jesse shakes his head. "I'm disappointed in you and your un-sportsmanship. You can't even congratulate yourself. Too busy feeling sorry for yourself. But you know what? Not everything is about you." Jesse allows more silence in the cab of his truck as Garrett stares out his window. "I thought I raised you better than this."
Garrett quickly glares at his uncle in disbelief. "I ain't Bo or Luke," he states in disgust and disbelief, "you didn't raise me."
Jesse nods at his mistake. "You're right, I didn't," he pauses, "then your father did a bad job at raising you."
"You know nothing of how I was raised," Garrett states before letting out a deep breath. He knew of the bad relationship between the two and knew nothing he said would change Jesse's mind. Plus his dad was the one who sent him to Hazzard, so Garrett wasn't in the mood to argue with Jesse. He knew he wouldn't win any how. Changing the topic, he says, "You call me un-sportsmanship. I raced that race fair and square. And what do I have to show for it? A wrecked car."
"Well good. I'm proud of you for racing your race fair and square," Jesse states, "but you can't control how others race you or treat you. The only person you have control over is yourself and how you react. And right now you are acting like a toddler without a nap not getting that cherished toy the toddler would want. So, in a few minutes we will be walking into the Boar's Nest and YOU are going to walk over to Hobie. Shake his hand and meaningfully congratulate him. Understand?"
"Yeah," Garrett sighs in resignation.
(Sorry for the long post)
Skipper sees Garrett, and Uncle Jesse come in. He rushed over to them. "Hey Uncle Jesse. Garrett. Garrett, I'm sorry about cheating and wrecking your car. I want to buy you a beer to apologize to you. Please join me. Uncle Jesse, you too. No hard feelings about you stealing the Coconut Moonshine or disconnecting the Minnow trailer from my car."

Absolutely! Those 2 are to The Dukes of Hazzard what Bob Denver and Alan Hale are to Gilligan's Island. 😀 What Andy Griffith and Don Knotts are to The Andy Griffith Show. 😀 You get the idea.

Grady Hagg is sitting at a table with a guy and girl in the Boars Nest.
Grady Hagg:"What do you think about the band playin' tonight?"
Guy:"Pretty good."
Grady Hagg (To girl.):"You wanna wait here, while I go to the bathroom?"
Girl:"Sure."
Grady Hagg gets up, and goes to the bathroom.
Bobby Lee Hagg is on stage with the other band members, trying to get his guitar tuned while playing with the band. A guy gets up from his table, and walks to the stage where Bobby Lee and the band are at.
Guy:"Hey boy, I sound better than that callin' hogs." Bobby Lee Hagg looks up, then back down, and continues to pick.
Guy:"I said "I sound better than that callin'-"
Bobby Lee Hagg kicks him. The guy comes back at Bobby Lee Hagg again. Bobby Lee Hagg raises his guitar Harlan, and smacks the guy with it.
Sheriff Luther and Deputy LD have just returned to the Boars Nest from getting some coffee. They have heard the commotion. They go inside to investigate. Bobby Lee Hagg sees them as they come in. He smiles, and drops what's left of his guitar. They walk over to him.
Sheriff Luther:"Let's go son!"
Bobby Lee Hagg:"Now, wait a minute, damn it. The guy come at me, an' I was just tryin'-"
Sheriff Luther:"Look, don't give me any trouble boy." Bobby Lee Hagg kicks the remains of his guitar out of his way.
Grady Hagg:"I miss somethin'?"
Sheriff Luther:"Well, let's go son."
Grady Hagg:"Bobby Lee, can't I even take a leak without the whole world comin' to an end?"
Bobby Lee Hagg:"Now, Grady, the bastard insulted my playin'. An' you know, I'm sensitive about my playin'."
Grady Hagg:"Don't you worry Bobby Lee! They won't keep you fer long."

Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) and John Schneider (Bo Duke) trained in archery how to use bow and arrows as Bo and Luke's weapons. They shot at hay bales in Warner Brothers parking lot. Did James Mitchum (Grady Hagg) and Kiel Martin (Bobby Lee) Hagg in Moonrunners have to train also because their characters were also on probation and couldn't own guns just like the TV show.

I wonder if Beth Ann Eubanks ever did learn archery? Bobby Lee Hagg was trying to teach her how to hold the bow and arrow and how to shoot it near the end of the movie, when Zeebo showed up at the farm. Her lesson was interrupted. We never did get see her properly learn or shoot at any types of targets.

It must have been on one of the movies or reunion shows because that was definitely not in any episode of the 7 years of the series.
Roger it was. The first one 1997. On a sign on the main road that said Hazzard County Population Unknown Because They Won't Let Us Count Them. 😂

Bobby Lee Hagg:"Did you bring the handicap juice?" 😂
(Grady Hagg points to the quart of Moonshine on the dashboard of Traveler.)
Bobby Lee Hagg(Picks up and smacks it laughing. To Beth Ann Eubanks.):"See, the the other race drivers, they know we haul liquor. So, we always bring some of Jesse's best along. Well, we figure a quart or 2 spread out among them other drivers gives half a lap edge. Hahaha." 😂
Beth Ann Eubanks:"Everybody drinkin' an' drivin' with no brakes, somebody's gonna get killed." 😂
Bobby Lee Hagg:"Awe, naw, that'd take all the fun out of it!" 😂

Grady Hagg, Zeebo and Cooter Pettigrew are discussing their race cars.
Grady Hagg:"Hey Zeebo, you best stay well behind me tonight. 'Cause I ain't got no brakes." 😂
Zeebo:"Oh. You mean that little thing on the left? Never used it." 😂
Cooter Pettigrew:"They oughta not allow that thing anyway. It's dangerous. Gets in the way of the gas peddle." 😂

Season 1 X Marks the Spot.
Gilligan:"Mr. Howell?"
Mr. Howell:"Eh, yes, Gilligan my boy. What is it?"
Gilligan:"Mr. Howell, remember when everybody thought they were gonna be blown up? Remember how nice they were to each other?"
Mr. Howell:"Gilligan my boy, when people are in trouble, they make concessions and fancy promises. When their troubles are over, they forget those fancy promises."
Gilligan:"Would you Mr. Howell?"
Mr. Howell:"A Howell go back on his word!? Never! Our family crest, honesty, fidelity, integrity."
Gilligan:"Oh good."
Mr. Howell:"Wait a minute, what's that?"
Gilligan:"Oh it's your will Mr. Howell. I found it when I swam out of the missile. I'm just throwing it back in the water now."
Mr. Howell:"NO NO NO MY BOY! DON'T!"

Gilligan's Island(1964-1967)
in TV
I used to talk to Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) on Facebook while she was on there before she caught COVID-19 and it killed her.
