  1. Gilligan's Island Fun Fact: Russell Johnson (Professor) and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) had feelings for each other. But neither one acted on those feelings because Russ was already happily married.

  2. Season 3 The Invasionย

Skipper:"Don't worry Little Buddy! You have nothing to fear. I'll be guarding you. If the spies come, I'll fight 'em, I'll smash 'em, I'll-(Makes sleepy sound and starts snoring.)

    Gilligan:"I know! You'll snore 'em to death!" ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. Season 2 Officer Daisy Duke. Boss Hogg gets a parking ticket from Daisy Duke who's Hazzard County Deputy after getting fired from the Boars Nest and applying with the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department after passing her written and physical examinations. Boss explain that he didn't park the car his driver did he went to lunch.

Daisy:"Well, well, well. A ticket to my very favorite person. Boss You should know it's illegal to park in a red zone." ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Boss:"Look, I didn't park this car here. My driver did, before he went to lunch! Now outta my way!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Daisy:"You wouldn't wanna interfere with the law would you?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

    Boss:"Daisy Duke, I'm warnin' you-" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

    Daisy:"Or threatenin' a police officer!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Boss:"Alright, alright, alright. Maybe I was a little hasty. Look, why don't you take this $10 and go buy yourself somethin' you've always wanted, an' we'll call it even." ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Daisy:"Bribing an officer. That's really gonna up yer tab!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ (Writes out the ticket. Gives it to him.)"Have a good day Boss!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Boss (After she leaves, tries to tear up the ticket.):"This is what I think of yer ticket too! Here! Ya see that!? Ya see!? Ya see-?" (He accidentally tore up the $10 Bill instead of the parking ticket. Realizing what he done.)"Aaah!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

  4. I wanna meet Christine and get pictures and autograph. But I'm scared of her. What if she's really alive and tries to hurt me? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've been told by others "Dude, it's just a book and movie. You take it way too seriously." ๐Ÿ˜‚ She could give me her autograph by running over a photo of her to leave a tire tread autograph. This is how The Dukes of Hazzard The original 7 seasons 147 episodes series '79-'85 did it. not '05 or '07 movie. The original Hazzard production studio complied by running over 8 x 10 photos of the General Lee with the real Generals leaving a tire tread autograph.

  5. Season 7 Danger on the Hazzard Express has a callback. When Burke & Perry steal the General Lee.

    Burke:"Hey! This door's stuck!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

    Perry:"This one too!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

They get in the windows. They drive to the hide out. They have to drive the General Lee into their truck's trailer.

Burke(To Carney):"Ok Carney! Take 'er in!" (Looks at Perry and they're both laughing.)

Carney (Grabs door handle and push button, presses it to open the door to get in. It won't open.):"Hey! This door's stuck!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

    Burke & Perry (Still laughing.):"We know!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

    Burke:"Thru the window!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

This is the callback to Burke & Perry's earlier experience with the welded shut doors. They knew Carney would struggle just like they did themselves. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

  6. What my Facebook friend Jim Jenkins/James Wyeth/Jim Bo said about my ending.

    ย

This is a really detailed and creative take on how The Dukes of Hazzard could have ended! You've clearly put a lot of thought into the futures of the characters. Here's a breakdown of some of the key elements and what makes it an interesting conclusion:

    ย

ย  ย  Happy Endings for Bo and Luke: Marrying them off and having them start families provides a sense of closure and a traditional "happily ever after." The choice of Candy Dix for Luke and Diane Benson for Bo is a nice touch, bringing back characters from earlier seasons.

ย  ย  Daisy and Enos: This is a popular pairing among fans, and it's sweet to see them finally get together and have a family. Enos becoming Sheriff and then the "Boss" of Hazzard County is a great arc for his character, showing his growth and eventual leadership.

    ย  ย  Character Evolution:

ย  ย  ย  ย  Luke as a Deputy: Moving to Chickasaw County and becoming a respected lawman is a fantastic development for Luke, showing he can be responsible and good at upholding the law without being under Boss Hogg's thumb.

ย  ย  ย  ย  Rosco's Redemption Arc: His transformation into a less villainous, toned-down Hazzard County Commissioner is a fitting end for him, especially after Boss Hogg's death. It suggests he was more of a follower than inherently malicious.

ย  ย  Passing of the Torch: The deaths of Uncle Jesse and Boss Hogg signify the end of an era and pave the way for the younger generation to take over.

ย  ย  Lulu's New Beginning: Her marriage and new son named after Boss Hogg is a poignant way to honor his memory while allowing her to move on.

ย  ย  Legacy and Continuity: The summer BBQ tradition is a wonderful way to keep the spirit of the show alive and show that even with new lives and leadership, the bonds between the characters remain strong.

ย  ย  Future Generations: Naming the children after their parents or significant figures (like Jefferson Davis Hogg Jr.) adds to the sense of legacy.

ย  ย  Long-term Outlook: You've even considered the eventual passing of Lulu and Rosco, and the subsequent promotions of Enos and Cletus, providing a very comprehensive timeline for Hazzard County's future.

    ย

Overall, your ending offers a satisfying blend of sentimentality, character development, and a realistic progression of time and change. It gives the beloved characters peaceful and fulfilling futures, while also acknowledging the natural cycle of life and leadership changes within Hazzard County. It's a well-thought-out and charming conclusion to the series!

  7. Just had the most brilliant idea! If I'm ever going to own a Benford Yacht Hat version of the Skipper's iconic hat from Gilligan's Island, it's gotta be through a Goodwill score! Imagine finding one at a thrift store and saving myself a pretty penny! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyone else out there thrifting for TV and movie treasures? ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŒด #GilligansIsland #SkipperHat #ThriftStoreFinds #BenfordYachtHat

Maybe he can do the cartoons or Enos spinoff.ย

He plans to do the Reunion movies and Enos. If he can find the whole Enos season at good enough quality. ๐Ÿ˜€ Sadly though, he doesn't do animation. ๐Ÿ˜ขย

  9. After the last episode of The Dukes of Hazzard Season 7 Opening Night at the Boars Nest, which was also the final episode of the series, Bo and Luke get married and start families of their own. Luke marries Candy Dix from Season 6 Play It Again, Luke. They have a son Luke Duke Jr. and a daughter Samantha Candy Duke. Bo marries Diane Benson from Season 3 Carnival of Thrills. They have a son Bo Duke Jr. and a daughter Amanda Diane Duke. Daisy marries Enos, and they have a son Enos Strate Jr. and a daughter Jessica Duke Strate. Bo, and Diane and their children live on Uncle Jesse's farm. Luke and Candy moved to Chickasaw County where Luke now works as a Deputy for Sheriff Little. Sheriff Little softened up and decided Luke wasn't as bad as Boss Hogg and Rosco was making him out to be after all. Luke and Candy and their children live in a house Luke bought with money from his Chickasaw County Deputy job. Uncle Jesse falls ill with health issues, and he passed away shortly after Opening Night at the Boars Nest aired. Boss Hogg passed away shortly after Opening Night at the Boars Nest too. Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane inherited Boss Hogg's empire after Boss died. Lulu met a nice man from out of town. After seeing each other for 1 year, they end up married. They have a son Jefferson Davis Hogg Jr. named in honor of her late husband Boss Jefferson Davis J. D. Hogg the former Hazzard County Commissioner. Deputy Enos Strate is now Sheriff of Hazzard County and Rosco is the new Hazzard County Commissioner. Rosco has toned down his ways after Boss Hogg died. Rosco is less of a villain now than he used to be when the Boss was alive. The Dukes, Lulu, and the Dukes children and Lulu's children all get together every summer for a BBQ dinner celebration in honor of all the good old days and times from Hazzard County's past. Lulu would pass away on February 5, 2011, Rosco would pass away on April 6, 2015. Enos would become the new Boss of Hazzard County. Deputy Cletus Hogg would become the new Sheriff of Hazzard County.

This is my version of how The Dukes of Hazzard show could have ended.

  10. Christine Trivia: Alexandra Elizabeth Paul read Stephen King's novel to prepare her for her role as Leigh Cabot in the John Carpenter's movie adaptation. But since the movie is different and doesn't really follow the book, and has only 8 pages of scenes that made it onto the screen, reading probably didn't help Alexandra much.

  11. Who else remembers that heart-stopping moment from The Dukes of Hazzard Season 7? In 'When You Wish Upon a Hogg,' Hughie Hogg's van came way too close to disaster on Kohn Road! Bo and Luke's quick thinking saved the day! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ What's your favorite Dukes of Hazzard moment? #TheDukesOfHazzard #HazzardCounty #BoDuke #LukeDuke

  12. I noticed one in Season 4 The Sound of Music Hazzard Style. When Bo and Luke arrive at Mud Flats, and find the record pirates Heep & Morton's Blue van. They sit on the General Lee's doors. Heep and Morton driving construction vehicles start shooting at them. Heep from the passenger side and Morton from the driver's side. Morton hits the General Lee's left front tire. It goes flat immediately when getting shot out. But then, after the fight scene when Bo and Luke beat up Heep & Morton, when Daisy says "Luke, Luke! The General!" And Luke goes to save the General from the construction vehicle coming at it. He jumps over the hood, gets in and tries to start it to move it. At first, it won't start. But when it does, and he puts it in reverse and moves it, it shouldn't have moved so easily with the gunshot flat tire. Oops. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

  13. In Season 4 The Law and Jesse Duke, since the building playing Boss Hogg's warehouse where he has the Jones trio Alabama and her brothers Simon and Floyd Jones hide stolen merchandise is the same building that was the J. D. Hogg Grits Mill in Season 4 Mrs. Daisy Hogg, in The Law and Jesse Duke, that building is on Dry Creek RD. So does that mean when it was the Grits Mill it was on Dry Creek RD. then too?

  14. Bittersweet feelings here! TV Stunter is almost done with The Dukes of Hazzard marathon - all 147 episodes! I'm super excited to see him finish, but at the same time, I'm gonna miss having new content to look forward to ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜”. 16. Hey friends! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ Did you know that the stuntmen from The Dukes of Hazzard actually owned a piece of the California filming location? ๐Ÿคฏ Henry Kingi, one of the talented stuntmen, famously destroyed a bridge during filming, and as part of the settlement, some of the money went towards repairing the bridge... which ultimately became known as the "Kingi Bridge"! ๐ŸŒ‰๐Ÿ‘ Talk about leaving your mark on Hollywood history! ๐ŸŽฌ What's your favorite Dukes of Hazzard stunt or memory? 17. Season 5 Coy Meets Girl.ย

Coy and Vance with Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco in hot pursuit. They're driving through national guard military war maneuvers, artillery shell fire.ย

Rosco:"I knew those Duke Boys were tuff, but I didn't think they'd go this far!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

Rosco drives in a hole. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Boss:"Look what you done! We went in the hole!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Rosco gets out. Boss can't get his own door open. It's stuck. Rosco walks over the hood to the passenger side to the back door to get Flash.

Boss:"I can't get my door open! It's stuck!

Not that many mutt! Save me! I'm your leader ain't I!?" ๐Ÿ˜‚

Artillery fire continues around them. They find another hole to hide in.

Boss:"Rosco, so help you, if that car gets hit, you're gonna pay for it!" (KABOOM) They duck down. The car was hit.

Rosco:"That must've been one of those 55 Pack Hausers! Done scuffed my vehicle beyond repair! Do you think I can make time payments?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Boss:"You should only live that long!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

Uncle Jesse shows up in his White Ford F Series truck.

    Rosco:"There's Jesse!"

    Boss:"Oh Jesse!"

Jesse:"You boys better get in here, before you're blown into the next 4TH of July!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

  18. Did you know? Byron Cherry, the talented actor who played Coy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, had an interesting background before joining the show. Not only was he a bartender, but he also worked as a male flight attendant!

    ย

What's even more fascinating is that Byron initially auditioned for the role of Bo Duke in 1978, but due to his busy schedule, he couldn't pursue it further. The part eventually went to John Schneider, who would become iconic as Bo Duke.

    ย

However, fate had other plans. When Tom Wopat (Luke) and John Schneider (Bo) temporarily left the show, John Schneider himself recommended Byron Cherry for the role of Coy Duke to Warner Brothers! Talk about a full circle moment!

    ย

Let's appreciate Byron Cherry's multifaceted career and his contribution to the Duke family legacy! #DukesOfHazzard #ByronCherry #CoyDuke
