Besides I don't really know if she's gotten over her crush on that councilor from forever ago, besides there's lots of boys her age that are better for her than I am." Luke replies slightly dejected.

Julie says "Well he's 32 years old, and I'm 39 years old and the idea of having another baby scares the daylights out of me do you know how much can go wrong when a woman is that close to 40. And the chance's for twins well that doubles and well Angelena is enough for me right now."

Julie says "Oh you mean, kind of like bringing your own wits and not losing your cool but one thing. I think I will talk to Brian tomorrow morning with Micheal around he might think I replaced him with Micheal and you know Brian is too young for me Luke let's face it he should stick with Elaine Benes there both made for each other don't you think."

"It may be best not to mention Michael just yet other wise you're right he could think that. Are you saying there's a problem with the age difference? How many years are between you and Brian? And as for him and Elaine I think I'm just gonna stay out of that one." Luke responds.

Julie says "Ya, I guess I do and it time I spend some time with Angelena and it seems that I finally showed Micheal what he means to me after all. Luke, it seems that Brian Lee Davenport has a crush on me how can I let him down gently with hurting his feelings too much now. Hey Luke do you remember that line that Willie Nelson in "Stagecoach" the 1986 version had said it was "Traveling Light and Coming Well Balanced" I have no idea what he means by that but it fits sometimes thow when I come on a crime scene."

"You have to be real gentle with him, although firm and careful. If you're not then you hurt not only him but Lizzy, everyone knows she'll kill for Brian. Just tell him you're not interested in him as anything more than a friend and hopes he gets the message. I think Willie meant that you don't need to carry much with you when you go somewhere but come with a clear and balanced mind." Luke said shrugging.

Julie says "Okay Luke, but I'm scared stiff of him what am I supposed to tell my boss about this right here."

Luke thought for a bit before answering. "Don't tell him anything. Tell him you're taking a few weeks off to help a friend and spend some time with your family but other than that don't say anything. You have more than enough vacation time saved up." Luke answered.

"First thing when you get home you need to erase those messages sweetie, their not doing you any good. And second don't worry about what could have happened. He tried but obviously it didn't work and she's safe. Just worry about what you're gonna say to help Lizzy win custody of Molly. She's scared to death she won't win and she needs all the support from you that she can get. Encourage her Julie and don't worry about this guy, let Bo and I worry, we'll take care of him." Luke comforts.

Julie says "Well Lucas you know I'm scared stiff of the guy right and no matter if I did tell this to Bo he wouldn't understand but I think you would seeing how you've been to Vietman but at least it's over for you it's never over for me. He might call me from Prison just to get me all riled up, you know he leave me mesage's asking how Angelena was doing and I never erased the them. I just don't know how much Angelena could take knowing about what he's really been doing to me over this past year or so."

Julie says "Ya, Luke that wasn't the first time I had that dream it just keeps coming back and I usually wake up the sameway. And sometimes it happens that Angelena is missing and he won't tell me where she's at only somewhere safe. Could you image If I told my Grandfather all of this. He want me to see a shrink and see what's going in my mind, and I don't need a Shrink right now."

"You're right, you don't need a shrink. No cousin of mine is gonna see no weird doctor. I think you probably need to just talk about it. It may make you feel better and it may get rid of your dreams." Luke says. "You know we're all here for you."

I don't know when this video came out, I watching a video countdown on GAC, and happened to see Jewel's new video. Yep, she's gone country. (who ain't, lately? )
At first I was like, ok, another chick wearing boots and getting out of a hot rod. Seen this before. 'Cept Jewel was getting out of a 78 Trans Am. Ok, I'm watching. She goes into a bar, makes eyes at some dude. Song is pretty tame.
But then she leaves the bar and does a smoking peel-out, and the dude jumps into his 1969 Charger to chase her. Here we go, I'm not changing the channel now...
The love chase turns into a game of chicken, with the Charger and the Trans Am heading right for each other, head-on. All the while, Jewel is singing her wistful little song and looking unconcerned. And THEN...
Well, I can't ruin it for ya. Try catching it for yourself. The Charger isn't orange, but this thing had Dukes of Hazzard influence written all over it.
And Jewel can sing a helluva lot better than Jessica Simpson.

Luke nodded and went back in to see Julie. "Ang said you wanted to talk to me?" Luke asks.

Julie says "Thanks everybody, I guess I didn't realize how scared I really am of that guy."

"Say Luke what is going on between you and Lizzy?" Bo asks with a smile on his face.
"Nothing I swear. She's really cute but she's going through a rough time and she'll need all the support she can get. We're just friends like her and you are Bo, you know that." Luke said.

Angelena comes in and says "Mom, what's wrong I think the whole county heard you now."
Julie says "Listen, everybody I had a dream where Xavier Coltrane forced me to marry you and Luke thought I was dead. And I was at his cabin, and If messed up he would backhand. And I got away and I was trapped by six big strong guys and we backhanded and me and that's when you heard me screen like that. It's was awful all my worst nightmares came true in it. And Angelena you wasn't with us, he had you sent off with his backwoods family and parents and they forcing you to marry a Beaudry he told me as well about it."
Angelena says "Well Mom, that ain't going to happen not with everybody here and wow that was some dream."

"It'll be alright Julie, you know it'll never happen. Lizzy would kill him the moment he steps out of the courtroom if he walks a way scot-free. She'll never let it happen Julie she cares about you too much." Luke replies.
"Yeah come on, after what the jerk did to her one best friend you think she'll let him near her other best friend now that she thinks it's the same guy? Don't count on it sugar." Daisy adds.

Julie looks at Angelena and says "After a day like today, I'm tirrrrrrrrrreed now and I'm going to bed and Goodnight Cooter before I fall asleep on this couch here."
Angelena looks and says "Hey, Mom's asleep and I think I ought to get her shoes off her and grab a blanket as well. Do you think I should tuck her in Uncle Bo?"

Cooter leaves as Julie heads for her room. When Julie reaches her room she changes for bed and then falls asleep.
Julie looks around the courtroom and sees Lizzy crying and begging that the man was the reason but the man turn and grins evil before grabbing Julie’s arm and pulls her out of the room. “Get your hands off of me you filthy piece of scum.â€
“That’s no way to talk to your new husband is it.†Xavier spits tightening his grip.
“Husband what are you talking about?†Julie asks.
Xavier holds up his left hand and the light glints off the ring on his ring finger. Julie then looks at her left hand and finds a matching ring. “Now that that matter is out of the way come on you have chores to do.†He spit shoving her in the passenger seat of his car. Xavier drives off laughing as Lizzy sits on the court house steps watching him drive a way.
A few weeks later Lizzy enters the Duke farm and finds it much the same as it had been since the trial. “Still no news Daisy?†She asks.
“No, we can’t find her anywhere. The boys think maybe...â€
“No! I’ve already lost one friend I’m not losing the other. I swear it, I will find her.†Lizzy spits. On her way out the door she runs into both Bo and Luke who shake their heads sadly.
“The best thing we can hope for is that she’s passed on. It’ll be better than anything that husband of hers could do to her.†Luke says softly.
“No! I won’t think that. Believe what you want Lukas Duke but I’m believing that she got away from him.†Lizzy snaps.
“But if she did get away then why haven’t we heard from her?†Bo asks.
“I don’t know.†Lizzy answers stumbling to her car. Meanwhile Julie has just escaped from Xavier’s cabin in the woods where he had her locked up all day long and if she messed up even the tiniest bit he’d slap her around. Julie stumbles through the woods and finds herself lost. Looking around she sees a way she thinks is out but only see that she’s trapped by six strong guys. Xavier comes into the circle of guys and backhands Julie hard.
Julie screams waking up and looking around her room. Light floods the room as the overhead lights are turned on. “What is it Julie? What’s wrong?†Luke asks.

Balladeer: That's beautiful dream of Lizzy's I wonder if she'll tell Julie or Luke about her dream tonight.
Back at the Duke farm Cooter stands up to leave. "Lizzy was right it's getting late and I need to get home. Thanks for dinner Daisy, Uncle Jesse. Let me know if y'all need something. Y'all know where to find me." Cooter says.

After Lizzy reaches home in Atlanta she has a bit to eat before going through her nightly routine and then going to bed.
Lizzy looked around nervously as the door creaked open. Next to the door she spotted a full length mirror and then two chairs. On the next wall there was a book case next to a couch and a small end table. Next to the table a little higher up was a window. Her gaze then fell to the back wall which held another book case and a desk. Lizzy turned her head back to the full length mirror and took a look at the woman staring back at her. The woman in the mirror was wearing a wedding dress that had short sleeves and fell to about her feet. It wasn't puff or lacy but something simple and pure white. The woman's brown hair was in a simple but elegant looking up-do and she wore very little make up. Lizzy's gaze fell from the mirror to her feet and the white dress she was wearing. That's when she realized the woman in the mirror was her.
"Hey are you ready?" Daisy asked from the doorway.
"Ready for what?" Lizzy asked.
"To get married. This is your wedding day or did you forget that? You've spent the past three months planning this thing and now you've forgotten."
"Oh right...Daisy who's the groom?"
"Lizzy, you've been in love with the guy for like ever and you don't even remember who he is? Come on it'll be ok you love him and he loves you so get your veil on and get your butt out her. Cooter and David are waiting."
"Cooter and David?"
"Don't you remember? You couldn't choose between the two so you asked them both to walk you down the aisle. Getting cold feet sugar?"
"No, lets do this then, could you give me a hand?" After Daisy had fixed up the veil Lizzy heard the wedding march begin to play.
"Good luck sweetie." Lizzy nodded and walked out to where both Cooter and David were waiting. Each man kissed her on the cheek and then led her to the back of the sanctuary where the doors had opened. Lizzy looked down the aisle at the man standing there and saw Xavier Coltrane standing there.
"Him?" Lizzy questioned. Lizzy blinked a few times and Xavier disappeared. In his place stood none other than Luke Duke and next to him as his best man stood Bo. As Lizzy's maid of honor stood Julie Duke and her bridesmaids were Daisy, Bertha Jo, and Mavis. The ceremony seemed to fly past and soon they were headed to the reception.
A few years later Lizzy saw herself holding a baby girl with curly light brown hair and blue eyes. Soon Luke appeared in the room and picked up the little girl from Lizzy's arms. "Our beautiful baby girl. We did it Lizzy." Luke said.
"She's so beautiful." Lizzy answered watching Luke look at the girl with pride.
"Just like her Mama. I love you Lizzy."
"I love you too Luke." Lizzy answered.
Lizzy fell into a deeper sleep that night with the first smile on her face since Cindy had fallen into a coma nine months ago.

Angelena says "Okay Uncle Cooter, you sound like you know from experience now about getting caught."

"I didn't say I was the one that got caught, Lizzy was. Most of it I learned from watching her or your two uncles. Not that Luke was ever cocky it was mainly Bo." Cooter answered.

Angelena says "Wow, Mom thinks I'm racing her Trans Am because it's always low on gas. And yes, I am and I always win haven't lost yet. The cops still haven't caught me racing yet Uncle Cooter."

“Just be careful out there Angel, the rare times that your mom and Lizzy got caught weren’t fun and it had them sour for a while. And try not to get too cocky because that’s when you start making your biggest mistakes.†Cooter warned.

Angelena says "Uncle Cooter, did you know my Mama when she was my age what she like and did she get in as much trouble as I do at times."

"Yeah I knew her back then. She was...a good kid for the most part but when you got her and Lizzy together they were...hell on wheels. Lizzy had a knack for trouble and Julie had the tact to keep what they did undercover. I knew two things when they were younger. First if a cruiser came into my shop it was either Julie and Lizzy that had caused it or Bo and Luke that had. Second if there was a race that all four of them were involved in you better pray to God that Lizzy and Julie won or else watch your step." Cooter answered.

Everybody at the Duke Farmhouse was getting ready to eat supper when Angelena says "You know, this is amazing and you know why because we got three generations in one house.. And in one day I met my father, and Great-Grandfather almost got kidnapped watched Mom get snatched and drove the General Lee I'll never forget this day and ya found out I got a baby sister as well. Did I lose anybody yet, and this and met many Uncle's and almost got into trouble as well."

"Sounds like you've had a busy day. Let's just hope this settles quick. Lizzy can't take much stress she'll do something stupid." Cooter said.
"Don't worry Cooter, while she's in Hazzard we'll watch over her." Luke answers.
"Yeah, but it's when she's not in Hazzard that I'm worried about." Cooter answered.
"She'll be ok." Bo says. "She's a tough girl."
Cue Julieduke.

Mavis says "Bye, please think about the way he holds you and the way he looks at as well it not for me but for yourself Lizzy."

"I'll think on it. Bye Mavis." Lizzy climbed back into her car and drove towards home letting her mind wander wondering if Mavis had a point. The girl was usually really perceptive but did that mean she was right? And if Mavis was right and Luke did like her as more than a friend did they stand a chance with how upset her dad would be about the seven year age difference? These thoughts continued to worm their way through Lizzy's head as she made her way back to Atlanta and her small apartment.

"I can sorta see it, but maybe denial is easier. It saves the heart break. I don't know. Well I better be off, it's a long trip back home." Lizzy answers.
