Julie says "Well sure, I can't keep them when there eight weeks old it would be too many for all of them but I'm going to keep Angel's favorite Kitten and when there old enough everybody welcome to one if they want one. Oh look Luke, there's a solid Black Kitten and a Calico and look at the Black and White he looks a like a Patches to me Oh Velcro you do a good job no wonder you was so crabby if the boys."

"Why did you want a kitten Bo?" Luke asks.
"No I thought Lizzy might like one." Bo answers.
"She's not really a cat person. She loves her dogs too much even though she only has Buster." Luke responds.

Angel says "Would he let learn how to drive automatic on it then?"
Julie says "I do believe that his white pick-up truck is a Automatic he taught Luke and Luke taught everybody else how to drive on that truck you might say it's a family tradition Angel."

Angel says "Hey Uncle Bo, does Uncle Jesse have something I could learn on what's that car under the tarp about I'm curious as cat it looks plain but really fast and it's a Ford I like Fords as well."
Julie says "What a traitor no wonder you and Mike Tracuer get along so well are trying to flirt with him Angel. You know I see when he came back to farm and you went and was talking to him in the hayloft."

"That's Uncle Jesse's old car I believe. You'll have to ask him." Luke says.

Julie says "I like that Uncle Luke but not on Mom's car it's getting repair is there something old I could learn on for the time being."

"You could always see if you could drive the Mouse." Bo suggests.
"No way you know no one but Lizzy drives that car." Luke answers.
"You know that ain't true, Cooter drives it. And there was that one time that you drove it." Bo answers.
"That was different. Maybe Cooter has something at the garage." Luke replies.

P.S. automatic transmissions were around since 1964 or about then so it would make sense for the mouse to be automatic.

Angel says "Okay, but it's wasn't very fair what he said to me I'm happen to be a very good driver it's just that I can't handle a automatic very well. You see Uncle Luke, I noticed that the General Lee was a stick I had a easy time with almost second nature maybe that's what the problem was then."
Julie says "Angel, I'm sorry and I didn't mean anything about and it and I'm worried sick about you with everything you had seen yesterday and everything I've been going through listen how did you lose that big truck you was talking about this morning then. Micheal just told us, that his cane ain't really a cane but a gun actually."
Angel says "Okay, I didn't know that before and I don't know I just kept on driving and ahead of that guy in the truck. You ought to see the truck where Micheal pulled into it's a moblile command center or something."

"Maybe if you want I'm sure one of us could teach you to drive an automatic. It's kinda simple. Sounds like it could be something to check out. Hey there Emy, welcome back. Did you have fun?" Luke asks.

Julie says "I guess besides I don't exactly have my car in running order so Micheal how do handle a Garthe Knight and what's the story are the two of you twins or brothers then?"
Micheal says "Neither, we just happen to look alike and have the same name!"
Julie says "Now Micheal, that doesn't help at all and how to avoid that big Semi and why is it so damm fast in the first place."

"Hey Angel, Lizzy's in town at the garage and she said something about talking to you about what Cooter said. How you shouldn't worry about it." Luke adds.

Julie says "Okay, Luke here's my Little Angel and it seems that Micheal is real serious he needs to talk to everybody about something here mighty important right now."
Micheal walks over the barn and says "Hey there, can we talk listen if see Goliath in Hazzard cb me at Knight 08 and let me handle that big truck don't try to take on Garthe he's allreadry caused me to flip my car in the past. And don't be fooled he has a cane but it's really a gun, so please becareful allright."
Julie says "Why should I be scared of him and that big truck it's just a truck and there's alot of places in Hazzard where that truck won't fit and besides Dukes don't just backdown from anybody Micheal?"

"Maybe it won't be so bad if we let him help Julie, you don't have to do everything alone. That's why you have family." Luke says.

emy looked around the what seemed to be empty farm house. "uncle jesse? Luke bo? daisy?"she called out one more time
"We're out back Emy!" Luke calls into the house.

Julie says "Ya, but how in the world can a Semi-Truck be so dang fast and it seems that Velcro delivered a six pack here aren't they cute Luke. We should tell Uncle Jesse about the farm's newest residences he's going to want to see the all white one kinda of looks like Boss there. And I think we should have Uncle Jesse or could you talk to Angel, and explain why I'm so mad at here. She's one nasty stubborn streak in her and she probaly won't want to talk to me until she's ready now."

"I don't know if I could help. Maybe she'll handle Lizzy better. I mean sure we've had to deal with Uncle Jesse when he's mad and he was like a dad to us but Lizzy's the only one who's really dealt with a mad parent and a mad Cooter. She maybe able to help Angel better than we could." Luke says.

Julie says "Luke, aren't you worried about that big Semi that following my daughter all over Atlanta coming to Atlanta that thing looks scary did you see the dents it put into my car when Cooter drove it here Luke.Oh would you or Bo handle Garthe if he got behind the General on ya's."

"Of course we will. And yes I'm worried about him along with a lot of other things Julie. Don't worry everything will work out." Luke says then adds under his breath, "I hope."

Julie says "But Luke, why car just sputtered and died at the farm here what was I supposed to say that's okay Angel I'll just get that fixed don't worry I'm not mad what if she would've done that to the General after borrowing it for a week or so."
After a while Micheal had left the trailer and Bonnie decided not to come along, and she got the info from Micheal that Garthe was in Atlanta and she had wondered why.

"I'm not saying you shouldn't have been mad because you have every right too but maybe you shouldn't have flipped out that bad. She does have a lot going on right now and it may push her too far to know that you and Cooter are both mad at her." Luke answers.

Julie says "Hey Bo, do you think I was a little mean to Angel but I got to check out how Velcro don't worry if she didn't like she does that everybody she meets it's feline for hello. Oh hell, that how's she greats the Vet for her appointments when she has to get shots."
Bo says "Julie, please watch that language and are you sure but really Angel is a really good driver when she drove the General she was fine."

Got bored one day and searched for Dukes of Hazzard fan sites, and I happened upon this awesome forum! Just wanted to let you know I'm here

Balladeer:Did you just see that car pull into a moving Semi-Trailer on the road, is that strange or what and isn't Angel with him. Now come one, Cooter was a little mean to Angel about what she did to the car besides it was only the trannie.
Lizzy sighed and climbed up into her dad's truck and they drove back to town. After dropping the car at the garage the pair went to the junk yard and a couple other places before going back to the garage and pulling out the old shot transmission and starting to put the new one in.
"How'd it go this morning?"
"It went." Lizzy answered bluntly.
"Oh." Cooter said disappointedly. With that reply Cooter knew he wasn't going to get any more than short blunt answers from Lizzy. "Did you want to go see if you could..."
"No, she'll come to me when she's ready." Lizzy said.
Cue anyone.

Julie says "Bo, I don't care what Micheal says the Foundation has a huge budget I don't and besides I got bills to pay and everything else and could you image the damage he's done to Kitt over the years. Hey, look my daughters cellphone I found this just now she left it in the kitchen."
Bo says "We were a little hard on her, but that kind of reminds me of the time I told you that drove like Rosco. I beginning to think that of Angel, he gets his patrol car repaired more than Enos does."
Julie looks at her cellphone and Angel has a new boyfriend and she hasn't let her mother meet him yet and she's going through the photo section and she see's a picture of her boss talking with Garthe Knight and she says "Hey Bo, this is why my daughter has been acting the way she has they must know about the photo I wonder if you can send this to a email address. Hold on I'm going to send this to my email address and print this up and take this to Rosco eventually and Luke wow this guy looks just like Micheal he didn't want to talk about but there not twins or even brothers I wonder what the deal is with it then. And here's a picture of the truck that he calls Goliath, wow I would scared of that behind my bumper as well and it looks just like Kitt's paint job."

Lizzy pulls in as she sees Julie talking and Michael and Angelena leaving in Kitt. "Hey guys. Did I just see Angelena and Michael leaving?" Luke explains what happens and Lizzy turns to Cooter. "What exactly did you say to her?"
"Just that if she was my kid she'd be spending time in her room and I'd tan her hide." Cooter answers.
"Because she wrecked a transmission?" Lizzy asks.
"Yeah."
"I don't see why that's such a big deal Cooter. You're the best mechanic in Hazzard, why is..." Luke starts.
"If there is one thing Cooter hates about fixing cars it's dropping a new transmission. He'll do anything else in a heartbeat but replacing the transmission isn't gonna be easy so he'll try to put it off as long as he can. Now I bet Angel thinks you're really mad at her and she's probably really upset. You really shouldn't have said anything about it. It'll get fixed whether I have to force you to fix it or fix it myself. And I'm really sorry Julie but it's going to be at least two grand for the transmission alone." Lizzy says. "As for what you said to Ang Cooter, you really shouldn't have. Maybe I oughta go talk to her. Cooter why don't you tow the trans am back to the garage and I'll get to it as soon as I go talk to Ang."
Cooter swallows hard knowing the only time Lizzy called him by his first name she was really angry with him.
"Lizzy maybe..." Luke started.
"Don't you dare start it Luke." Lizzy snapped.
Cue anyone.

Micheal says "Don't be so hard on Angel, Julie she's just a kid that is still learning I'm sure I can show her how to drive fast without messing up a trannie."
Angel says "You would let me drive Kitt then, oh thank You very much you know how much this means to me. Uncle Bo, let me drive the General Lee and he didn't say nothing about my driving yesterday."
Julie says "He was being polite and beside the the General is great condition anyways as well what could've went wrong."
Micheal says "Don't say that, just say that okay there is lots that go wrong and your just jinxing your brother with the statement. I remember I thought I had the perfect plan for disabling Goliath and yes that what he calls that truck. Well, I took my plan and Nose to nose with truck. Well, I ended up flipping Kitt and messing it up more than you can imagine. You should've seen the look on Bonnie's face when I brought it back to the Semi, she was so mad because she had to fix Kitt."

Julie says "Well ya, Angel that song really gets to me that's all it was played at my prom as the last song. And the date, I had was really special and well it didn't work out and I just don't want to talk about okay."

Cooter, Bo, and Luke didn't have much trouble getting back to Hazzard aside from the fact that Buford didn't want to sit still and that Cooter knew the transmission was going to go soon. When they reached Hazzard they made it to the farm just as the transmission gave a sputter and died. Cooter sighed as he rolled the car to a stop behind his tow truck and climbed out grabbing the dog's leash with one hand. "Come boy." Cooter said. Buford strained on his leash until a sharp tug from Cooter made him stop. He handed the leash to Julie before looking at Angel. "You are so lucky you're not my kid." He said.
"Why's that?" Daisy asked.
"Because had you been my kid Angelena Duke you would be doin' some serious thinking in your room before I let you drive another car. I don't care who was after you the way you wrecked this transmission, you oughta have your hide tanned. Especially since you're mama ain't gonna like the bill to get this car in top racing condition again." Cooter warned before hooking the car up to his truck.

Velcro sits and looks and starts talking to Cooter and he opens the door and she walks right in and it seems there was her waterbowl right near by as well.
Bo see's Cooter carrying Velcro in her Pet Taxi and he says "Luke, that cat didn't like neither one of us here and take a look at this bumper it looks like a Eightwheeler had rammed her just like Angel had told us back in Hazzard."

"Yeah shouldn't be too hard to fix along with the rest of those dents. It's the tranie that's gonna take a while. That girl needs a couple lessons on how to drive fast and not tear it up." Cooter answers. "Here you take Velcro and I'll take the stinky dog." Cooter says taking the leash from Bo and handing the cat to Luke. "I'm sure the two of you can handle her."

Velcro come right to Cooter and starts kissing him and she see's Luke come down and hiss's at him.

"Looks like the cat doesn't like you either." Cooter says picking Velcro up. "You're a good kitty. Now time to get you in the car."
"Here Julie says you have to put her in this first." Luke says holding out the cat taxi. Cooter nods and Luke sits it on the table.

Bo says "Okay, but Buford has a little bit of gas right now well I could treat this car with kids gloves and have Buford ride with me and the windows down right now. You know Cooter, do you think this damage could've happened when the guy in the eighteen wheeler was chasing her it does look the bumper has been hit a few times here. And good Buford you cute little puppy but I wish there was cologne for dogs thow."

P.S. Good Post, I take you had that kind of situation before then with dogs. I once had cat with gas but was sitting on my brothers lab at the time.
"Found that cat yet Luke?"
"No, try looking in the living room would ya?" Luke answers.
Cooter looks around the living room calling "Here kitty, here kitty, come here little kitty. You're a good girl. Now where ya hiding?"

Bo says "Okay, Buford needs to go outside anyways I think he has gas here. He's definetly riding with Cooter now."
Bo walks out with Buford and lets him walk around the yard and see's Cooter in the garage with Julie's car and says "We he live, so what's the damage it seems that Luke's have girl trouble right now. I think Velcro would give Rosco a hardtime she's good I think she playing hide and seek with Luke right now."

"I don't even want to know what Angel's been doing to this car. I can guarantee you if she was my kid she'd be getting an earful. And what is that smell?" Cooter asks. Then seeing Bo glance at Buford he shakes his head. "No way I don't want to ride back to Hazzard with that stinky butt in the same car." Buford jumps up on Cooter but Cooter being prepared for it shoves him away and slams the hood shut. "It's the best I can do for it now, until I get it back to Hazzard. And I think I'll go see how Luke's fairing with that cat. Try to air that dog out a bit would ya?" Seeing Bo nod Cooter goes inside.

Bo rattles and says "Buford, your Mommy wants me to drive you to her and don't knock me down again this is getting a little old now."
Buford comes running at Bo, and knocks him down and giving him the full customery doggie gretting and after Buford gets up. Bo gets up and get his leash and he attaches and says "Okay Buford, lets go your riding with Cooter he's loves all that attention now. Hey Luke, have you found Velcro yet."

"Not yet, go see if Cooter will give me a hand in here." Luke responds.

Bo says "There is no dog, that has ever got the best of me besides I don't want no German Sheperd-Golden Retriever Mix sitting in my lap while I'm driving. He's too big to be a lap dog Cooter he's riding with you in the Julie's car were taking Velcro I'll go get Buford and Luke can get Velcro cats love him."

"If you say so Bo." Cooter answers. After the trio made it to Julie's house Cooter let Bo and Luke go round up the animals as he checked out Julie's car. He started it up and cringed. "Man what has that girl been doing to this car?" He pondered. He shut the engine off and looked under the hood before fixing what he could. When it was fixed he started the engine but still cringed. "Man that girl's gonna get it when Julie sees the bill for this." Even though the car was better than it had been it still had a ways to go.

Julie says "See ya later, and it's going to nice I'm going to have Angel and me help Uncle Jesse with Chores to take up the time while your gone."

"Are you just too scared of him?" Cooter asks as the three walk out the door.
"Have fun Angel." Luke calls behind him. Uncle Jesse shakes head as he watches the three climb in the General with a fond smile on his face. It wouldn't be long before they were back that is if they managed to round up the animals as Cooter fixed the trans am if needed.
